Yeah. And stashes is also a great way to expose cheaters. Perfect trap to confirm someone is cheating. Should be a way to automatically flag people who dig up other peoples stashes. Maybe its possible to get lucky once, but 2 or 3 times should be flagged and looked manually at.
The only problem with stashes is the way they were implemented. Vote on this if you want Small Stashes to be fixed by Facepunch: rust.nolt.io/16804 The position of each stash should be kept as a secret on the server-side, instead what it actually happens is that your computer (client) already knows the position of every stash located on the map. All you have to do is convince your computer to tell you where they are. (...by using cheats)

Stashes for a cheater is probably like having a 'treasure map', no wonder cheaters love it so much. How to solve it? just break their toys. (by making this game mechanic completely server-side)

I think we should, just be aware of it not being super secure. Im not a developer, but im not so sure its so easy to fix the issue, or they would have already.
What’s funny is I make literal videos of people scaling walls and headshotting me from 500 meters away with a revolver, send it to the servers discord and the fella doesn’t get banned. Then this guy rolls around and does the right thing

F7 report on a server I admin with that type of evidence gets acted quickly and if it doesn't I am only a DM away on discord man. Fuck cheaters
