MEI Hydraulic Freight Elevator (Car 6) at Springfield Town Center Mall, Springfield, VA

This is the freight elevator right next to the passenger elevator that goes to the management office. I usually don't go into service corridors in malls, but since there was a sign that said management office with an elevator symbol that pointing to this corridor, I figured it wasn't completely authorized access only. I initially thought this was a mod, but it may actually be a new install, after seeing the other freights in this mall. It is definitely an MEI, likely put in by Kone. It's a pretty nice freight elevator!

I think Kone did the mod. EWPA says at least the passenger was originally a Montgomery.
