Both fantastic entries! Italy's La Noia is the obvious , safe and very uplifting, but Greece's Zari is unique, upbeat and totally catchy! Greece is Satti-sfaction ! for the win.

Italy aims high with five dancers and a great signature: in fact, Mecnun Giasar, a world-famous choreographer also known by the pseudonym Majnoon, will take care of the staging of Angelina Mango on the Eurovision 2024 stage in Malmö.
Mercun Giasar is an internationally active dancer, musician and choreographer. Of Greek and Turkish origins, he has worked for several internationally renowned artists, including the K-Pop group BTS, Madonna, Rosalia, but also for Loreen, winner of Eurovision in 2012 and 2023.
At Eurovision 2024, Giasar will also take care of the performance of Marina Satti, the representative of Greece.
Accompanying Angelina Mango on the stage of the Malmö Arena, there will also be five dancers: Flaminia Genoese, Kelly De Nigro, Valentina Vernia, Arianna Forte and Martina Toderi.

Huge battle of egos here, two places that almost see it as a patriotic duty. Though there are some Greeks even so who don't like Zari.

I'm Italian and I love Zari lol on the other hand I'm a huge fan of Angelina. I'd be so happy if any of them wins!

The greek song is way to messy for me, even quite annoying...., Italy: usually I'm not a big fan of their songs, but this year it's in my top 3 and even maybe my nr 1

Usually I don't like the hype on Italy. This year it is clearly one of the better songs in the contest. Greece. Noise. A lot of noise. I am always happy when it is finished.

Well, both Marina and Angelina are queens! Super-bright stars! Performing goddesses!
Now the songs...
La noia has great lyrics but the composition is not my thing. Since you mention the previous Italian entries, I'm usually a big fan of Italian entries and I think they are underrated more often than overrated. The composition of la noia is for me bottom3 of the Italian entries of this century. When I'm watching Angelina I'm captivated but, if I had to only listen to the song without visuals, I find it quite annoying.
Zari is extremely messy and loud and aggressive. Noisy, yes I could say noisy. But it mostly annoys me when I watch the music video. If I just listen to the song without visuals, it's much more bearable or even enjoyable, if I m in the mood to dance on something so out there. In that case noisy becomes energizing, uplifting, addictive. If you are ready to embrace loud chaos, zari becomes quite a fun journey.
Anyway, although none of these songs is anywhere close to my favs of the year, I'm sure that both Marina and Angelina will give us amazing shows to watch in Malmo. So I might even end up loving the songs because of how charismatic and irresistible the performers are.
