    We have a Swift. Takes the entire expandable box. Great tutorial. Thank you for your great work.

    This is yet another fantastic how to video. That drop out plastic thing is almost useless. 👍

    Awesome video Vaughn, if you want the runners to give you more room so you dont have to shave the wheels down, sand a 40deg on the bottom of the bamboo draw so the runners fit tighter/closer to the draw. This is to account for the metal fold on the inside of the runners not being able to accommodate for a crisp 90deg corner. It gave me the extra space so the draw didn't feel so tight. 😁

    I have a 2022 16.67 jayco journey poptop and your video inspired me to do the install. Perfect👍🍷🥃🫰. It was a little different to your specs but overall it was the same. Love the videos

    There seems to be a bit of variation between models and year of manufacture. I have already done the mod, but the opening on our 2021 Eagle Outback is 404mm x 135mm. Simply means that I used the expanding feature and have a narrow compartment down the left side for storing chopsticks (?).

    Great video, and like all your videos, great detail.
    I just measured my 2021 Eagle Outback and the drawer width is around 440 mm wide. You could still use the expandable tray but don't break the expandable piece. Also when mounting the side wall for the runners, you will need around a 25 mm thick piece of wood for the fridge side and the other side has a curved piece that you will need to cut your wood to match and affix with some straight brackets. I'm going to try give it a go, not sure how I'll work out the cut out piece around the down pipe just yet so... might end up with just a door :D

      How did you go Phil, found all the same with our 22 Eagle. Did you also find your sink was deeper? I had to take nearly 15mm off the three central long dividers and the back righthand corner, but love the chopstick slot!

      @philliphumfrey3485 Před rokem

      @@taztheambo yep, sink was also lower. Had to go back and forth between shed and caravan a few times 😀
      Worked well in the end and glad I did it, extra storage is always key!

      Eagle OB owner here too: just finished this project and found the same: I ended up expanding and also then used my dremel to take about 5mm off the top of the cutlery tray. Took a while! But it fits really good now. I have the hot water heater so was a bit of contortionist move.
      The click in the vid I would suspect is a screw sticking out from a runner.
      Great inspo - thanks for the vid!

    Thanks for another brilliant ‘mod vid’‼️
    Awesome as usual Vaughn.
    Just one small query, you left us hanging with what that annoying little metallic click noise was when you opened/closed the drawer at the end there??
    You mentioned you’d have to find it and sort it.
    What was it!? 🤔

    Vaughan any quick ideas on how to pack out the side nearest the fridge, as i have a 25mm gap to the fridge

  • @dazzavn

    Could you sand down the side walls of the drawer a few mm before you attach the runners?

    mate, it was so hot in that camper.

  • @dogeholdr
    @dogeholdr Před 2 měsíci

    This doesnt work in a 23 ob eagle gaps alot wider (405mm) so you need to use the spacer feature and the left hand runner (fridge side) needs a packer alot harder to do. Looks alot less factory than this way shown
