The Ayla moment was so weirdly perfect. I can't get enough of the last 10 minutes of this set. Truly a special moment. Belfast crowds might be the best in the world - you can always count on them going absolutely apeshit over everything. Can't imagine how fun it must have been to be there.

What's even more unusual than the trance at the conclusion of this superb set, is the final song (Saltwater). Saltwater is sung in the Irish language. Imagine that, people actually enjoying themselves under the iconic Samson and Goliath listening to Irish!
The other thing I love about this set is that hardly anyone is messing about with their phones. Just the music. Old school

that's because trance is da bomb chief!
"Euphoric trance" is overplayed to the point where it loses its effectiveness. By going easy on it and not just playing a whole set full of tunes like that, it can be truly effective.

Taucher Remix of Ayla is a beast of a record....I remember hearing it first when Judge jules played it on Radio 1 live from Homelands its such a good tune

Genuinely curious, what in particular about it was so good? Is it the mixing or the song choice? I think as a DJ at a set like this you should have multiple paths you can go to based on what the crowd is feeling. As for reading the crowd this is unmatched.
