before coffee wasn’t good anywhere, but Europe (Italy, France) would’ve had a strong coffee culture
what started to happen this new wave of coffee (3rd wave) came from Australia, and being english-speaking it quickly spread over to the US, England, etc
so flat whites and stuff are still on their way to most countries as we speak, unless you go to capitals
places like Italy have such a strong in-built culture of drinking dark roast coffee that they’re too used to that taste and most likely won’t enjoy medium roast or flat whites
ok I was so afraid about the coffee machine you were gonna get
at least you didn’t spend massive amounts of money
Sage is a good brand if you’re actually looking into making espresso yourself, manually
but I’d recommend something like V60, which is what we use and it’s very good and quick
you can make it as strong or as weak as you want
I mentioned in your “GENEVA, SWITZERLAND 🇨🇭 GROCERY HAUL 🛒 WITH PRICES (January 2024)” swiss method coffee which actually doesn’t have caffeine
i’d say you’d be interested knowing about it

Thanks for that. Maybe someday if I have more counter space we can get a different coffee machine.🙂

Sorry to hear how many things you “hate” in Europe. Canada sounds like a paradise in comparison!!

Definitely don’t hate lots of things about Europe. Every place has pros and cons. Canada was an amazing place to live and grow up in. Unfortunately like a lot of places it took a bad turn since Covid. Hopefully it can recover some day ❤️

@@JaniceEadie yes!!! We lived in Basel two years, we r back to Barcelona now where our home is and I’m just happy every day just because I get to be here. Honestly Switzerland was hard for me in so many ways…. But you travel a lot so I guess it helps! I like watching ur videos very much!

Yes, I think the hardest thing for me is people don’t make small talk here and I don’t speak French (only a tiny amount-very poorly 😂)Hopefully we can enroll in lessons soon if my fiancés schedule allows for it. Realistically, it will be years before I could have a deep conversation with someone in French though so that kind of gets me down 🙁 where I grew up everyone talks to everyone so I’m just not used to it. But it’s great to live somewhere else-it makes you appreciate certain things and at the end of the day you will learn a lot of lessons which is the point of life. God bless Easy Jet for its cheap flights-we get to visit other places for quick getaways which we would never be able to from Canada. Glad you are back home and happy!
