Hi, we are Martien and Roeby, a Dutch couple living in Canada. During the months June and July of 2023 we made a 60-day road trip to Alaska with our Dodge RAM Cummins diesel, Arctic Fox 865 truck camper and our German Shepherd dog Akira.
Our passion is travelling and good coffee! We created this Alaska video not only to capture those memories but also to help other travelers planning and making their trip and to share our experience on what to see and do while in Alaska. For all the hikes we do, we are using the AllTrails app. In the videos we marked the trail names of the hikes with the AllTrails logo, so it is easy for you to find on the AllTrails app.

Our most favourite stop on any northern trip is always Dawson City and the Territorial park across the river.

Thanks for watching! We agree, Dawson City is very nice. Stay tuned because we are making an episode of that too 😊

Braeburn had the best ones in the Yukon for many years, but Tetsa River holds that crown now.

You have found some sweet out of the way and along the route places to visit. I am an Alaskan since 1960 , I have spent most of my life traveling for work in our Native villages and living in rural areas. The last years were spent in Ecuador with my now late husband on our farm . Since he crossed last year I am preparing to bring his ashes home driving the Iron Horse (Van Camper) with my Shepherd Kiana ..Ive done this trip a couple of times in my life via the Alaska Marine system , this time I plan to savor the journey driving solo to and from. I found your video to be inspiring showing different excursions along the way . I will be taking advantage of your scouting ahead of time and appreciate the efforts you’ve made in the thoughtful filming of your trip. We had a camper very similar to yours that we drove down to the lower 48 in 2017 ..it was perfect for us and I wish you many adventures in the future.Happy Trails!

I would do this trip but not get involved in touristy things like the signpost forest etc. tourist food stops I would still do.

We are using the DJI Mini Pro3 for our trips. Easy and convenient to use with the separate screen.
