- I had an opportunity to spend a few days in Copenhagen, Denmark so I met with cosplayers, owner of a local anime shop, AniMerch and one of the organizer of GenkiCon. SEE FULL DESCRIPTION
To get a better idea I had originally plan to check out one of the largest con - J-PopCon but due to getting the second volume of Cosplay in America out, I unfortunately will not be able to be at the con in 2015. At some point I hope to come back !

I actually planned on attending, the casual 'walk', but same day I forgot the time and almost drowned in a wig.. Please visit Denmark again one day! Then I'll be sure to make it next time!

Its like that at any convention. They ask about your cosplay and all the details and stuff. But if you're in cosplay and its not a convention...like he said

Thank you so much for this!!! I live in Denmark and started working on costumes and thinking about cosplays a year ago, but haven't been able to find larger comiccon-like events in the Skandinavia. Therefore it really helps me to listening to Copenhagen cosplayers and events going on there ^^
SVSCON is actually shutting their doors and closing down for good in 2015 :(

It is interesting to see, how other people outside of Denmark see the cons. I really like the openness you give to the cons and you sound really interested in knowing more.
There are also Koyocon. One of the small cons.
Unfortunately svscon 2015 will be the last.
Also there will be a "hydracon" in Jutland, where it is like a gaming/cosplay convention. It is like Geekcore.
Also there will be a new con in Jutland called KeikoCon. Which hopefully will be up and running sometime. But we needed some cons in Jutland because it is too expensive to go to Copenhagen, by official transport.

5:00 I actually saw some Animegao kigurumi on J-popcon. It was few but saw some.
Regarding the 23:30. There was an 18+ Lounge where you could sit and relax with other people. But there was a reason it was 18+ XD. It had Hentai mangas over there. But it was still cozy and chill to sit there and listen to sweet music.
31:47 That is so true. I have also seen alot of people being bored after a few times when they have been to a con too many times. There is no new stuff/innovation going on in the "con department". Which is sad.
It most be awesome to go to cosplay convention out of the country. Also are you going to any other cosplay convention in Michigan instead of Youmacon. Like Mid West Media Expo
Ven Mac - No :( I think Youmacon will pretty much. Not sure if I will be there in 2015 or not. Haven't planned that far ahead yet !

Man, i miss going to animerch for Cardfight tournaments, I was friends with trieu too, I have no idea how to know when the tournaments are though

@extremtfall I was planing for NarCon 2015 Winter since it is the same time as J-popcon - so was gonna hop cons but I really need to get my book done so will try for Sweden in 2016. Sorry !
