Followed your Video to the T and I promise you have the best video on the Tube so well I didn’t record just want everyone to get the experience I did Subscriber
Great video, I'm getting ready to install mine. Question: Which slot under the glove box do you plug the white plug into? Are they all the same or a specific slot? Thanks!
I would assume so with a custom made tune but I'm no tuner so I can't say for sure. I am still running the 93 octane tune that comes preloaded. I know you can do data logging and get custom tunes as well though.
Thanks for making this video. Very concise and easy to understand. Have you done a custom tune yet? I am getting ready to buy my own trinity with an unlocked pcm for my 392 car. Also does the trinity store the stock tune file? I want to get custom tuned eventually by diablotoona and he needs the stock tune file of the car emailed to him to begin the process.
Appreciate it! You will definitely love being able to tune for sure. My girlfriend also has a widebody scat and I can tell a difference when I drive hers. Before you apply a tune it does write the stock tune to the Trinity so you have a point to go back to. I haven't got a custom tune for mine yet but would like to do the data logging feature and get a custom tune soon... Just rocking the Diablo tune for now.
@@awesome_rt_20 awesome thanks for the info! Who are you thinking of going with when you do go custom tune route? I was set on Jay Greene but I had too many people tell me that Johan with Diablotoona was the better route. I guess you can't go wrong with either. One last question, did the bypass cable come with the Trinity? That's the ex platinum right?
@chetmanley610 yeah I did the ex platinum with modified PCM so that I had my stock PCM in case I ever need it. It's more expensive but worth it in my opinion. The bypass cable does come with the kit. Not sure who I'll go with for custom tuning. Heard good things about Jay Greene also. If you end up going with diablotoona let me know how it goes for sure.
@@awesome_rt_20 I agree with keeping your stock PCM. That's the direction I plan on going as well. Hopefully the stock one just sits on a shelf and I have 0 issues with the unlocked one but better safe than sorry. Ok good the bypass cable is included. I couldn't find that information anywhere! Yes I'll let you know once I get the custom tune. Unfortunately it seems like everyone's on backorder for Diablo tuners and unlocked PCMs. I'm hoping I can get my hands on one sooner than later.
@@awesome_rt_20 got my Trinity and PCM today. Put on the 93 tune, nothing crazy different but the torque management is gone which is really nice. Still gonna go the custom tune route and I'll keep you updated on if that's worth it or not. Waiting for some nice weather here to be able to do lots of data logging with Diablotoona.
Do you install unlocked pcm 1st or 2nd? I see you plugged it in to your stock pcm before swapping? I got mine today & installed the unlocked one but my car didn’t start up…not sure if i installed it right
Yeah you have to plug in the Trinity to the car with the stock PCM installed first if I remember right. It makes a backup of your current settings before you install the unlocked one.
I have to say. It sounded great. But it went south so quick. It's back to not running at all.. I can't believe it did that. It started once but the idle wasn't there. Then it progress got worse . Now nothing.
I did. And they said to talk to hemifever. Because they said it needs a custom tune. But I loaded a modified stock tune and it started idled sounded great. I put the front clip on and then it happened back to not starting again
@@awesome_rt_20 it’ll say “pcm calibration update “, then it’ll go to the 0% the it’ll hit me with the “ an error occurred while installing calibration update “, then “failed to restore the vehicles factory data reset device “, it’ll reboot then “ unable to determine if the ECU is factory or modified “
Hmmm... Has it ever tuned successfully? Does the car run with the Diablo pcm in it? Do you still have your stock pcm? My suggestion would be to swap back to your stock pcm, reset the Trinity back to default, and then start the process over again. Seems like something didn't happen right when it needed to make your initial backup of your stock calibration settings. Make sure to follow the directions carefully. The car can't be running when it makes the backup.
Very very very very good video should have way more views thanks man I’ll be doing a video soon and tagging you in it!
Sounds good. Let me know how it goes and I'll check out the video when you post it.
@@awesome_rt_20 sweet bro
The Diablo tune one is the 93 tune they wanted it to be called the Diablo tune cause it’s the best

Thanks! I appreciate that. I try to be as detailed as I can in my videos.
Thank you I’ll look into it

They are all the same. Doesn't matter which one. Any open slot will work.
Hey bro the Diablo tune is the 93 octane tune…waiting for my unlocked pcm to get delivered then tuning my 2023 rt charger
Yeah I googled it that same day and found it. You will love it when it gets there. Noticeable difference even on the canned tunes.
Hey, it’s good video but I have a question before I even buy this unit. Are you able to change the timing?
I would assume so with a custom made tune but I'm no tuner so I can't say for sure. I am still running the 93 octane tune that comes preloaded. I know you can do data logging and get custom tunes as well though.

Is your car stock?
I've added flowmasters and then I have a AFE throttle body spacer and filter but other than that it's stock.

That's nuts... I would think the canned Diablo tune would run fine since it's not heavily modified. Sorry you are having so many issues.
Mine just keeps saying calibration error update 😭😭 mine might be broken
When are you getting that message? Did you update the Trinity OS before trying to do any tuning?
Yes sir I updated it and it just says it can’t tell if my pcm is modified or stock 🤦🏽♂️
