I did it only for exhibition, Exdeath's AI is on easiest setting.

I love how there are three versions of Cloud, all in a different timeline in Dissidia. And Tifa fought herself from the future. XD

When this game came out I was so happy I don't know how to describe it, but I do remember thinking
"Finally, they made final fantasy game without the use of turn based combat! It took them long enough!"
I rented it two days later and have absolutely no regrets.

Oh man, same. Back then Dissidia is a MASSIVE fan service to all the FF fans where they can finally see a real time battle with their characters.
All rise for what is still the most epic move in all of Final Fantasy. Every year new characters come up to try and take the throne but every year Cloud comes back ten times more epic.
They fill the EX gauge, the bar next to the character's picture. When it's full, you can go in EX mode, with added abilities and a very powerful special attack unique to each char : the EX burst (what you see at the end of the vid).
Once you have them both equipped, press square after the first two hits of slashing blow (for omnislash) or sonic break (for finishing touch).
Yes, all updated attacks are obtained the same way but, not every brave attacks can be updated, and some characters don't have any (Squall for example). Zidane and Tidus are the characters with the most updated attacks.
this game needs the crisis core reunion treatment with an updated roster from 14 and 15
They don't even imagine how popular and unique this game would be if they ever remastered it.
Thanks. To get AC costume, you have to buy it in PP shop first for 300 PP. Then, on customization screen press triangle to change costume at will.

You can train him up on higher exp days on your calendar ( but i trained him hup daily) and put him in Inward Chaos as a character as well as the other 2 modes with Shantotto and Gabranth. I've got a level 100 Sephiroth now and my ghost char rank is SSS. His moves f***ing pwns. Epic bravery moves + speed + Octoslash + Heartless Angel = WIN
@redsnipes465 Be sure to press square after the second hit of Sonic Break, so press O two times then square, it should work. Also, check that you have it equipped in customization menu.

It's the Omnislash V5, once you have it equipped, press O twice then square.
quick question, those small blue orbs that get knocked from you and your opponent, what is their purpose, reason i ask is so that when i get the game i know a bit of knowledge about how the game runs
@reighost Yes it's a whirlwind in FFVII, but this is the Dissidia version of Finishing Touch.
I enjoy things like this. I don't care that so and so is better than so and so. I just like seeing the characters in a different setting and storyline. There is so much to like about Final Fantasy. I have so many games to play though!
How does the omni-slash vr.5 of the english version different itself from the japanese?
I'm guessing they made it more flashy???
It's the Omnislash V.5, you have to master Cloud's base air brave attack to get it.

what if you went into ex mode and have all of the complete fusion swords as you automatically get omnislash v6 and does the move like in FF Advent Children?

cloud is my main character in dissidia...hes slow and hard to utilize against faster people but if you guard at the right moments and land your combos you will never lose

How did you get the ground chain attack? I have the air chain attack only. I am at level 100 and master all attacks.

in dissidia its a combo HP move a.k.a that rapid spinning move he performed was finishing touch.
You master moves by getting AP at the end of battle. Once you won enough AP, the move is mastered.
something I have always been wondering... why does it say version 5 for Omnislash?

Omnislash AND Finishing Touch? I didn't see Finishing Touch in there. Is it different in Dissidia than it is in FFVII?

@AeonAvatar we do have this is called doudecim 012 dissidia. And its not just ff7 its all 13 final fantasys put into one. I have it
command play is like in the old final fantasy, attack, block etc etc, you put your commands in by a menu, which looks JUST like the one in an original ff game :D

You should have it if you mastered all attacks, one of your ground brave attacks must have been updated.

Just have the move equipped is really all you need, then just spam fights for AP and eventually you'll master it.
Master slashing blow. The other skill is called Finishing touch, you get it the same way as Omnislash V5.

AI was at the lowest/easiest settings, was exhibition, not challenge, as i say in the description.
You can chain all three into on massive attack

i have finishing touch equipped but i can friggin use it for the life of me, i keep pressing square right after sonic break but all he does is chase =/
you master the air combo, thats what i heard
must master the basic air move thing.
