@@layloo5244 yeah. I didn't know Got7 was their senior by five months. It's just that Mamamoo have intimidating aura around them that makes them look more charismatic and respectful like seniors usually do.

Mamamoo is literally the only group that I loved based on their intro alone. Like, you already know what their musical identity is based solely on how they introduce themselves. Other groups just say their name and leave it there; Mamamoo seduces you while flexing their talent at the same time just by telling you who they are.
I hope that when Mamamoo will win their first Daesang they will change the simple harmony as a longer and higher one (for the occasion) to show to everyone their insane harmonies-accapela abilities 🤗

What's amazing is that they follow the tune of "I say" immediately. I mean the tune of their introduction isn't always the same note yet even when it changes they always do it perfectly.
what is amazing is how quickly they pick up the note. as a singer i can tell u thats not exactly easy to do, listen to the reference note and calculate yours from there, and thats wo even considering how quick she says the ‘i say’

Their intro really is super unique. It represents pretty much everything the group is known for: great vocals, great harmonizations, and creativity
I never get bored watching any compilation of their greetings 😍😍😍 Mamamoo established their identity as a vocal power house from the very start of their introduction, and yet still robbed from the award they deserved 😭 Not that its important tho, from this reaction we all can see how others who heard them know it well too... :')

i remember they have their "default" positons -Byul, Solar, Wheein and Hyejin. And if they switched positions, their opening greeting gets a lil mixed up. It seems they were wrong, as they still sound si harmoniously regardless of their positions.
Thanks! It never gets old. Great choice for the outro - among other things The Light expresses the sky-high aspirations & heartfelt friendship that make groups like Mamamoo and The Ark so special. Moomoo love for The Ark & Khan seems like a no-brainer but it's always nice to see. 😊
@Rati Kanta Yeah, it's excellent, esp for back then. The Ark was ahead of their time. Their disbandment is perhaps the biggest waste of talent in kpop history, which make the demise of Khan doubly cruel.
@Rati Kanta Khan was a duo of The Ark leader Jeon Minju and rapper/singer Euna Kim. Like The Ark they released one song called I'm Your Girl? and were disbanded by their agency within a year. The live performances of I'm Your Girl? were better than the MV. I called them MMM Jr since they were a duo, used hand mics, and never lip synced. Khan also uploaded about a dozen great covers on their yt channel (BTS, Bol4, best Despacito cover, etc) and competed on a tv show called Vocal Play. Many moomoos loved Khan.

Imo every live performance, fancam of them busking around Seoul, and dance practice vid is a must see because it's a precious document of a very special group.
