@@CantTreadOnMe I didn't bake them. Just let them dry to the touch and then ran the bike a little. Oh and it still looks very good. No chipping or peeling or anything.
@@vincenzocreates thanks than ill follow same method. I got some real nice Python pipes that were wrapped but I hated the wrap cuz they faded to white from black. I wanna refurbish them, add some quiet baffles and torque lolipops and paint them nice black for my Harley. I'm gonna experiment a little and see if I can tone them down a bit cuz theybwere just way too loud as well but had nice performance over my current slip ons.
I'm thinking about doing this to mine. I have the chrome staggered 2 into 2. I want to leave the tips chrome.
Is it still holding up? ....any tips?
I haven't painted chrome but I sandpapered mine very lightly, washed it with dove dish soap and painted. It still looks great.
@@vincenzocreates excellent....or as the Aussies would say, Brilliant!
@@vincenzocreatesHey did you have to bake and cure it? I'm trying to avoid having to do that. Your pipes look exactly how I want mine to look.
