In the discussion on 40-49 year olds, who saw the govt lied and don't trust, and are big for Trump. That's the age group that was the last to grow up outside and the first to have the Internet at their fingers. They idolized their grandparents, the WWII vets. They knew Reagan and Bush and knew a time of prosperity when the USA was the only superpower. They were young adults when the Olympics came to Atlanta. They grew up with Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, The Patriot, The Lord of the Rings, they signed up for GWOT since 9/11 happened while they were in college/high school. They hit adulthood, and got slammed by the recession of '09, Obama's economy, then yay finally 4 years of Trump, and now hit again by Obama economy 2.0. These folks idolized WWII vets and got destroyed when they volunteered to do the same in good faith. Then got their economy destroyed. They hate Boomers, for the most part. So yeah, Gen X and Xennials are extremely Trumpy and Populist.

I am not enraged over Navarro or Bannon because there is nothing I can do about it that I am not already doing. Anger causes me to self destruct, it is not productive. They want us angry, they want us to do something stupid. We should not burn hot on this we should be cold, unforgiving, and never forget.

Tulsi has been very open about her politics, and her record clearly does not reflect that of a democrat cult follower. She didn't vote in favor of the first trump impeachment, for example. It's a shame there are still republicans that just bc of a blue D once attached to someone's name, they plug their ears and take the political purity highroad like a true establishment dumbass. I'd take Vance though since he'd be capable of carrying the torch onwards and expanding the populist beachhead into a congressional majority.
