For reference, check her 5H performances, especially those after she started getting praised for her “looks.” She’s just doing enough to get by, which is why she is performing at malls. It's obvious some people here know nothing about the music industry. 5H was funded by a large company that paid for 5,000 body count minimum concert events, marketing and promo and was forced via contract to sing and perform things her heart was not into. She never felt the need to over play the part just for likes. Not succumbing to money and fame is much different than being lazy. If multiple cross country tours as a teenager is lazy then I don't know what to say about the rest of us here....... transitioning to a solo artist where you have to write your OWN music, do your OWN promo and marketing, your OWN choreography and concert hall selection is much harder and time consuming, especially before you put out your first solo album because you don't have all of the funding to pay for the big boom constantly. Start small and affordable, the more you self promote and people get to know you as a solo artist, the more likely they are to be watching your music videos and buying your music. She has to become " big " all over again without help from the big guns. Negative comments should be avoided if they are only opinions, which are in fact the lowest form of knowledge.

Even though Lauren should be playing better places I love how humbling it is to see her do this and obviously enjoy it. Lauren has so much talent to the point she should be performing at award pre shows, doing interviews, going on talk shows. Either she needs a better label or she needs to be more active on social media to build more talk around her name. She needs more promotion. Even though Lauren should be playing better places I love how humbling it is to see her do this and obviously enjoy it. As a huge fan of hers it really gave me this feeling of us seeing who Lauren really is outside of Fifth Harmony and as a person/artist without her having to be a certain way whilst performing in a group.
