Deleted DESCENDANTS 3 Scenes That Would Have Changed EVERYTHING

- Descendants 3 DELETED SCENES that would have completely changed the movie! In this video, I discuss the deleted scenes which were released on the Descendants 3 DVD, give my own thoughts on them, and explain how they would fit into the final movie.
While I understand that some parts didn't make it into the final movie, emotional parts involving Jay (BooBoo Stewart) and Carlos (Cameron Boyce) should definitely have NOT been deleted!
Next, some parts actually EXPLAIN some things that were unclear in the movie and deleting those scenes made Descendants 3 actually somewhat confusing.
Hopefully this video sheds some light on the deleted Descendants 3 scenes and helps you understand some parts that were unclear (like, how did they get back to Auradon?!).
Finally, the scenes involving Jay (BooBoo Stewart) and Carlos (Cameron Boyce) where they talk about their future plans actually CHANGES the whole movie and does an incredible job for the world building part of the Descendants franchise.
Mal (Dove Cameron), Evie (Sofia Carson), Carlos (Cameron Boyce) and Jay (BooBoo Stewart) return to the Isle of the Lost to recruit a new batch of villainous offspring to join them at Auradon Prep. When a barrier breach jeopardizes the safety of Auradon during their departure off the Isle, Mal resolves to permanently close the barrier, fearing that nemeses Uma (China Anne McClain) and Hades (Cheyenne Jackson) will wreak vengeance on the kingdom. Despite her decision, an unfathomable dark force threatens the people of Auradon, and it's up to Mal and the VKs to save everyone in their most epic battle yet.

I prefer this form song "kiss or not". This scen is more sensible and interesting than song.
So they cut the IMPORTANT scene of Jay and Carlos discussing their futures, yet they kept that UNIMPORTANT scene of Dizzy and the twins eating Jane's birthday cake after they woke up from Audrey's sleeping spell?! Seriously, Disney?!
And made song about "kiss or not" and one while they fight with living armors.

"Kiss him or not" is iditic for me because they behave like advance couple. Everyone know that their in love and then 3 part make this. It's stupid and against Evy's character for me.
Armors... They could make good fighting scen with Uma in 2 part. In 3 part they made stiff choreography dence. No, ti's not fight scen. It's bad dance and sing scen.

I believe the original vks are graduating from auradon prep so the new vks were going to be going there so they could do a spin off series for their disney+ streaming service revolving around them while the originals went off to college or at least I believe that was what the original plan was
These scenes would’ve made it seem less rushed. Especially the one with jay and carlos, which honestly they needed more of them anyways! Too much Evie and Mal...makes it seem less about the “Descendants”

My favorite deleted scene was probably the one with celia and Dr. Faciller. He didn't really get much screentime.
That part was in the movie.
Also because it gave Celia something to DO. Poor dear, dragged around the whole movie and all she did was back up dance, throw a shield, and destroy the ember.

I don't think the first one was just about Mal, it did a good job of expanding the other VKs but the second and third ones were more Mal centered.

They filmed multiple different versions of the “you didn’t think this was the end of the story, did you?” With multiple different characters saying it from what I’ve heard, they only cut it because Cameron Boyce died and none of the cast said it would feel right to return without him
Before Cameron died Kenny wasn't gonna add the scene he was just mocking the end of the last 2 descendants ending

I think it was kinda disturbing to see hades at the end staring at ben when Mal wasn't looking around. So if they wanted to make descendants 4 it could be possible as they can show hades in a negative role maybe but it will low key break my heart to watch it without Cameron :(

My favorite scene is when Jay Carlos where talking them Jay admitted that Carlos would be the person that he'll miss the most after going to that university. It really touched me because when I think of it now we're living it all of us we miss Cameron and if they've left it in the movie it could have made a millions of people cry including me. It was probably Harry hook to be honest, she Never said Jane would fall in love with this tall handsome stranger or have any feelings for them just that she will meet a tall handsome stranger, plus Harry does single her out twice in the movie so that was probably connected to this deleted scene, but that's just my opinion

I really wish they had kept these scenes because it adds to the story... Honestly, I wasn't even sure why they brought more VKs over when they got no real screen time... The twins really confused me because they do nothing at all... The least they could do is introduce some new VKs that I would want to see rather than two creepy looking kids... I would have loved to see more Carlos and Jay moments too! I kinda teared up whenever Carlos was in a scene... I know that the entire story is based around Mal but they could have cut some things that seemed unnecessary so other characters could have their moments... Like the scene when Audry tries to board them up in the cottage... I know it was to show Uma and Mal working together but they did not need to make an entire scene for this when they could have shown this at any other point... It just seemed useless with how fast they got out of it...

The scene where they explained how they got back to Auradon would’ve filled the plot hole they created when they cut it. Also including the part where Jay explains his plans after Auradon would’ve explained why he mentions taking a gap year at the end of the movie!
Honestly have no clue why these were taken out. Sometimes it’s because of time or the scene not fitting the tone of the movie but these scenes contribute SO MUCH MORE!!

You do realise that the ‘tall handsome stranger’ Jane was referring to is Carlos, even tho he’s not that tall but because she asked “will he remember my birthday tomorrow” that confirms it’s Carlos, because in the actual movie Chad says “looks like Carlos forgot your birthday” and stuff, I don’t think she’d want Harry Hook at her birthday, also that scene was before she met Harry because she said ‘her birthday *tomorrow* ‘ but she meets Harry on her birthday.
I agree, I felt they introduced the new VK kids and then the one kid we met in the last film (Dizzy) spends the whole movie sleeping and the twins never say a word. That scene with the boys and the twins would have been great to keep in with character/relationship building AND would have made the moment with Beast Ben seem less out of left field.
I agree all these scenes should have remained in the movie.. for the final Descendants movie it was very short and kinda disappointing but I like tho

Kenya Smith the first movie was an hour an 52 minutes and this last one was an hour and 48. I’m sure the extra couple of minutes wouldn’t have been that big of an issue. It’s better to have an excess of content than to leave people wanting more especially with what just happened.

Y’all are so right!! All of the scenes should’ve stayed, except the last one. Jay and Carlos needed more screen time. Mal and Evie weren’t the only descendants. Also, I guess that’s how the director wanted it to be, remember in High School musical, Troy, Chad, Sharpay and Gabriella has the most screen time, no one complained about Ryan and Taylor. 🤷♀️

The reason why they deleted the Kenny Ortega scene is because Cameron died while they were probably editing the last of the movie maybe and they said they wouldn’t make another decedents movie in an article.

the movie is called descendants for a reason. it’s about the villain kids, not just one villain. the whole movie trilogy is about Mal. first movie: mommy issue, second movie: boyfriend issue, third movie: daddy issue. like dude, I expected more of descendants. i wanted more of the vk’s not just Mal. i get she’s a main actor, but do you not realize there are other actors in the movie...

I definitely agree the first one, not only is it a nice moment between Jay and Carlos but also I feel like it makes it more clear as to what has happened since the last movie, like they are heading to college and have finished High School, they jumped a lot of time I think since the last movie so it would have been nice. Also I really wish they had more Dizzy in this movie! I loved her in the second one and really thought she'd be important in this one so I was super disappointed when she was under a sleeping spell the whole time. Love that last scene too, definitely would have been funny regardless of any future Descendents plans.
They can make a D4 all they need to do is have Carlos take Jane on a vacation because they didn't get to celebrate Jane's bday now them two are out of the picture you can possibly make a D4
I think the rest of the cast all agrees that it would feel wrong to make another one without him.

@@anonymoususer8387 thats because there isnt lol...dove cameron and a few others have teased about a d4....but even before the tragic death of cameron boyce they said they more than likely would not do any more films because they are getting older...but if cameron had not of died they may have decided to do a d4..but definitely not now...even dove cameron who was REALLY close to cameron and she is still struggling with it bless her ...she has said she refuses to do another film without him cause they were REALLY close and behind the scenes the two were always together xxx🙂🙂🙂
