I really wish there were automatic open ones... Like, if you kicked the door with your foot, the cans would slide (slowly out). Because I can't give up my automatic open lip; it's just too handy when your hands are dirty.
If you want to get real fancy and ha e some extra time and materials, glue /secure the door of the cabinet to the base of the pull bins. Then change the handle angle and voila. A trash pull cabinet and very little money used
interesting how these are seen as luxurious in the US. in my country almost everyone has their trash bins underneath their sink & often attached to the cabinet door (so it’s not a pull out one, just a regular door)
I had a trash can pull out drawer and it sucked! Hated it! I felt like it was so dirty. And my kids were always pushing down trash my try to not have to change the trash bag and kept messing up the hinges! Or wouldn’t take the bag out and let trash fall all over inside the drawer space. So I took it out. I got tired of having to clean up trash a couple times a week!
My family keeps them in the pantry. It means we can have 2 full size 'giant' bins and then we only empty them 2 times a week (sometimes more of we have guests).
Luxurious? I always found them annoying and they just seem cheap cuz they have lots less capacity and having to sort different types of trash for recycling isn’t a pleasure with this system
Really nice idea except if you live in family of 4 there are much more trash and the trashcans may be too havy and the weels might not work well due to weight
And its better than pulling a trash can out of a cabinet to throw something away while making food, then wash your hands and burn something in the process…bad memories.

My frigging plumbing is in the way and the disposal on the other side blocks the height
