@@its_picks7280 Ill clarify this for you. I'm very late game, I used to have blue hive, 10 of tadpole and buoyant, few vectors too, pop star. Currently I transitioned into red hive, because of attack and robo bear, I have 10 spicy and precise and more vectors, and got scorching star. Imo red hive is much more fun to play as,.

Not horrible nerf blues still make 50t a day, as well it is getting a attack buff in part 2 on buyoants which is huge

Very chill video changing from blue hive to red hive but the reality its very pain in the ass
I was about to switch to red for RBC but I manage to solo round 20 as blue hive. I think eventually I'll switch to red, properly post-beemas, and say goodbye my 5 years blue hive and try something new.
How did you do that as blue? Did you have some attack bees? And what level is your hive?
the colors didnt exist for 5year, maybe 3 but not 5
Just a typical blue hive (solo pop), I just replace my stubborn and diamond bee for 2 spicy and some buoyant for 3 precise and a rage bee. Tbh i got really lucky on round 16 to 19, robo bear kept giving me blue related quest or pollen collection.

You could just take 1 baby bee out and put Riley

You dont need nearly as many precise bees. 5-8 should be max, rest should be spicy bees. Also dont get rid of your events, windy is still very good because you mainly need to keep flame heat and tornado will help you with getting tokens while you stay in flames.
Edit: It seems I have judged this by an older meta, but in my opinion you still shouldn't have exactly 12 precise bees, maybe 10.

He wasn’t making a hive to red boost, he wanted rbc done. he didn’t really clarify that and he didn’t use items in the rbc he did, L of a video imo, Man needs to do his on research instead of just trusting other people, this hive is great for rbc but has none of the beequips to make it work (toy drums/horns) and its just sad to see 😭
@@badskull3329 You need 12 prec bees because they are your main money source. Spicy bees are only for scorching star. Windy bee is not recommended because you need haste.
@@zlaikqamvs8280 Yes precise bee is used for almost everything besides SS but it is more important to have more spicy bees compared to precise imo because you can infinitely get precise marks/precise after 8, i would rather use those slots for more gifteds/events. The only reason you'd want more precise is to make sure that you can get SS more compared to getting it to max because of spicy bees. Windy bee still adds a ton of support by collecting tokens you miss while you build SS. Even then the Baby bee is 100% unncecessary because of the baby love from tadpoles.
@@badskull3329 Baby love is only better if tadpoles have bar. Even if you’re building scorch star if you have scythe it should be fairly quick. You need haste to get the prec marks and star saw is another alternative for collecting the tokens.
Heya! I'm almost able to get my first SSA. What do you currently recommend for a starter hive in the current build?
I reccommend that you stay mixed until you have done every questline of every npc (dapper bear excluded). Oh and if you are ok with any hive color id say you let your rng decide. so if you have alot of spicy and precise bees then go red. if you have alot of tads and buoyants then blue. white you should leave out because you will need to grind a bunch for white. Red would be your best choice because of robo challenge. but like i said, stay mixed untill you finish every non repetable quest.

Depends blue is still really good for farming but red is currently meta for this Christmas event because of rbc

White- gummy saw or gummy shower
Red- scorching saw.
Pop saw or pop shower

got dark scythe yesterday and it took like 4 weeks
honestly the hardest part is definetly the quests since if you get bad rng you basically get stuck on a quest for 1+ hours (if youre above 150)
2nd hardest part is super smoothies (if you dont buy them from the catalog) i decided to get them without the beesmas catalog since getting 500 gingerbread wouldve just taken too much time lol
other stuff for dark scythe arent rly that difficult to get unless cuastic wax in a way but you can get that from planters also candlelight bundle gives 10 of those

@YarikzBSS I am mid-game blue leaning towards blue hive with 43 bees in total and 3 buoyant bees and 2 tadpole 1 gifted. I have a spicy bee and 2 precise bees. I just wanted to ask if you recommend for me to try to lean towards red, I can get decent honey macroing with my friend. Also wanted to ask you if you can still macro for decent honey as red hive as in mid-game? I feel like red and blue hives are pretty much the same just that blue hives get more storage and red hives have flames. Tysm for the "pog" content and gl on the riley bee quests!
do u have ssa?
Don't switch to red or blue hive yet. Stay with the mixed hive first before switching, because you'll need ssa first, once you get it. Then switch any hive you want, red, blue, and white.
