I’m a huge fan of the Pet Shop Boys. The 80’s releases stand up well compared to many other synth pop bands of the time.? The Tipping Point is an excellent return to form. I love the melancholy mood of the album. You’re right, that’s not Weezer’s strongest effort.

I was a little disappointed with Maladroit, but it stands to reason that with so many albums I'm bound to run into at least a couple that I could live without. As for the Pet Shop Boys, their '80s stuff remains timeless to my ears. There are other synthpop bands from that era that I still enjoy, but maybe just a handful of songs as opposed to full albums. Thanks for watching!

Love me some Pet Shop Boys. Is it really 39 years since I bought West End Girls?!?
Great Tears for Fears as well 😊

Ugh. 39 years! Honestly, I love that song just as much - maybe even more - than I did when it first came out. Their music is so timeless. Cheers!

@@DavesBasementGrooves I remember that summer, I got West End Girl and 19 by Paul Hardcastle at the same time in Skagen. We had a stereo/recordshop, in fact we had two!

@@MortenAastad Ahh, Paul Hardcastle! It has been many years since I've heard 19. I don't own it... yet 😆
