When I first got in the Asakusa area. I was like, Okay, this looks very similar to the SMT 3 Asakusa where the Mudman live. Then I got to this quest and it has SMT 3 Reference about Demi-fiend, 3 Seraphim, Baal and how the 3 Archangels coming down. It even has a SMT 1 reference where you fuse the Angel Ring with the 3 Seraphim to open the door in the final dungeon.
A very neat sidequest and callback to Nocturne and SMT1. Also neat that it leads to two unique optional bosses in the Law and Chaos routes. . . . . . . . . . . . Dumb part is it has the Raidou &SMT4 secret allignment system so if you arent in favor of either gotta pay a paywall to acess Belial and Michael lol
You can actually tell your alignment before the final choice if you return to the real world Tokyo and go onto the map if your cursor spins clockwise you're law aligned if it spins anticlockwise you're chaos aligned and if it doesn't spin you're neutral
In my opinion,this side quest did give an explanation of why Chiaki(who later become Baal Avatar) summoned the three Seraphims in Nocturne. As they were either indeginous gods or servitors of Baal before the Creator(YHVH) defeated Baal.
Running Trend I noticed, most of the Archangel battles in this game are kind of pitifully easy if you even have one party member who blocks Hama (Like Metatron lol) Ashame cause the theme used for these fights are so good.
Uriel is the most oppressive DPS of the bunch iirc. Also he racked up something of a reputation given his performance in previous games. I don’t know if he’s necessarily as powerful as his previous incarnations in SMT, but he’s certainly the one to take down first.
Save daddy Uri for last dammit! Get rid of Gabby because ladies first, the Raph because of his healing abilities then go for Uri because then it's a solid fight
