I'd love to have a legitimate intellectual discussion about this, does he donate his profits to charity, aside from paying his workers, paying for the shop upkeep, and paying for supplies? If not how exactly is he justifying the business. What are his prices where does he source his beans and other products? What's his tax return look like, etc. I'm a capitalist and I believe that the free market is the best way to give everyone true equal opportunity, get the government out of propping up big business and keeping oppressive anti-free-market processes in place, I do believe in welfare and social security, but we shouldn't do anything more than making sure we don't let people die in the streets on a government level, and if we can keep the government out of welfare and social security that would be even better
Its a marketing gimmick. I doubt hes even a leftist.
@@kittenzrulz2314 Definitely a champagne socialist if we are all being honest.
There's no such thing as free market in the United States. If there was, trillion dollar bailouts wouldn't be a thing.

He got a great lesson in the Free Rider Problem in classical economics.

Is all the coffee free?
Nothing in life is really free. Especially in Socialism/ communism Marxism/ Bolshevism = ALL the same ideology.
Those that live under it pay the highest price & I am not talking money.
Lol.
Lmao.
Running a for profit business that sells coffee in an open market competing for customers in a major city while claiming to be "anti capitalist" is just too funny.
Yeah Its closed
End capitalism!!! Ok that'll be 15.99 thank you.
Not anymore! Doors closed, gone out of business! 😂😂😂
Out of Business. What a shocker. Communism fails once again! 🤣
Aaaaaand it's gone!
And, in May 2023, it went bankrupt.
And now they're out of business. OOPS!
You criticize society yet you live in it. Curious.
I’ll be stopping in on my trip. The comments show a real lack of understanding about how anarchy works. 👊
Right?? I swear the comment section on this video is so ignorant 😭
“You say you hate capitalism yet the coffee isn’t free 🤔🤔” is such a stupid comment I swear
Exactly. But having a brain is a luxury even pro capitalists can't afford..
True.
There’s no such thing as anarchy. If three of us are anarchists, two of you will answer to me.

You in the comments don’t seem to realize he runs a small business and he wants to keep it small and dosent want to compete which dosent sound capitalist to me , the only buisnesses who try to compete are corporations. And even if this was capitalist your still using the Tu Quo Que fallacy and not using a valid argument.
but this is capitalism
"Destroy fascism" stamped in a bag. Just to be fair, Fascist Italy was the first western country to recognise Soviet Union as a real country. Another fact was that Mussolini was one socialist before forming the ideology of fascism, Mussolini was even a member of the socialist party of the era, Mussolini also nationalised the industry mainly the foreign industry in Italian sole, initially the industry was privatised if the company wasn't giving returns or was needed in times of wars or instability, Mussolini took the enterprises to work as a state owned interprised. So singing "Bella ciao" is the same to say we want a thing that's similar or slightly different from the current thing we have.
A communist opening a business was honestly the most stupidest idea that guy could have.
How is cooperating communism? The Government got you people deceived, cannot even THINK without mentioning something that they brought to you
Is there any hope for these fellow humans?
