thanks for the video! ive been using rewasd for 3 months and after that update a cpl months back it wouldnt work anynore. gave it a try today after 2 months, watched your video and were back on diablo 4 baby! appreciate it

Just a quick mention, make sure you click the power off button if you want to play the games installed on you're ally
It's in the bottom left corner next to the profile button. I had a absolute panic attack when I could use the controller normally
Ah yes thanks so much magsk1 for highlighting this - only found this out after making the vid and I too panicked when I couldn’t use the Ally’s controls normally! 🙌
Agreed well worth £7 given the battery life on the ally is shit it means i can charge it and play at the same time

Thanks! I believe so, I haven’t seen or heard any reports that reWASD has any viruses unless of course you somehow get an unofficial, cracked version of it…
thanks for the vid.. juts couldn't get the ps button to work with the M2. any idea why?
Mine automatically was mapped for some reason - perhaps it’s because I’ve globally mapped the M2 button in Armoury Crate to I think the Xbox button (or Esc) which I think is the same for PS button - if any great viewers could clarify that would be awesome and I’ll pin the comment! 👍

Map m1 or m2 in aurmory crate to xbox button under the gameplay configuration. Then in remote play app it will register as ps button
Hi, great video! This helped a lot but my rog ally isn’t showing up as a gamepad, instead I have a 360 controller. Any idea on how I can fix this to show my rog ally as a gamepad? Because of this my remote play works but when I use the right stick for example in cyberpunk the cursor moves around. I have the settings set to gamepad and the only time this happens is with the remote play. When I turn off reWASD it doesn’t happen at all. Hoping you know a fix! Can’t find anything online.

True Goofman, but I think $7/£7 to support these awesome developers in giving us potentially hundreds of hours of PS5 remote play gaming is very reasonable, if anything I’m frustrated with Sony in ‘locking’ native controls in the first place which is very petty of them IMO…
