FACTS. I used to hate shipping because of all the fans who took it too far but now I do enjoy shipping a little just for fun ( like you said imo there's nothing wrong with that )
I'm not an ateez fan but i missed your content about ships, someone just told me that it's wrong to ship real people and i'm upset, people think we have some kind of weird fantasies and they try to shame us for that 😭😭 Some people don't realize that we can enjoy ships without sexualizing them, like we make jokes for having fun, and it's nice to be around people that can understand you, it's just important to separate all of this from reality
Woosan is one of the most famous ships in kpop. They have 'amicus ad aras' tattoed on them which means a friend till the very end. Ateez as a whole are just very affectionate with each other. Thank you for the reaction

Very affectionate except for Hongjoong, Yeosang and Jongho lol they have their own way to express their love to the member though
Lol y'all need to stop getting translations off Wikipedia.
And you can't just remove words from a phrase, in any language, without changing the meaning. "Amicus usque ad aras" means "a friend even until the altar" which can be interpreted as "friends till the end", however "amicus ad aras" at best could loosely translate to "friends at the altar", (which is a very different kind of relationship) but isn't an actual phrase or sentence in Latin.

Main ships of Ateez:
Woosan (Wooyoung and San) - by far the most popular ship, one of the most popular ships in kpop, they actually have matching tattoos
Matz or Seongjoong (Seonghwa and Hongjoong) - the old married couple of Ateez, mom and dad
Yungi (Yunho and Mingi) - flirty bffs, lol these two were friends way before they joined Ateez and spent so much time together that their parents thought they were a couple
Jongsang (Jongho and Yeosang) - our reserved duo, super soft
Our cuddle butts Wooyoung and San you can literally ship with every member of Ateez, their love language is physical touch and they are often attached to another member, especially San as he has a super soft and personal connection with every member, Yeosang (Sansang - super soft ship, recently has gotten really flirty, lol), Yunho (Yunsan - roomates, our puppy and kitty, energetic duo), Mingi (Sangi), Seonghwa (Sanhwa), Jongho (Choi brothers), and Hongjoong (Hongsan), even the members that dont care for skinship. With Wooyoung his main side ships are probably Woosang (Yeosang, our other long term bff duo ), Woojoong or topaz(Hongjoong), and Woohwa (Seongwha).
Yeosang is another member that gets shipped a lot because every member babies him and has a soft spot for him. 😁
We also have a couple of trios that have a common denominator: Woosan, lol

Seongjoong is my favorite ship, don't know why they aren't included on this, they are kind of famous among the fandom too 😥.. Their tired parents vibe is just SO FUNNY, plus they are SUPER supportive and loving to each other.. i truly believe Seongjoong are meant to be

The biggest Ship of Ateez is:
- " WooSan" they've matching tattoo together now too & the members are tired of them, they're always clingy, kiss & hug each other a lot too
Then you have :
-"HongHwa" is the second most know ship of Ateez they're like the Mom & Dad of the Groupe
-"YunGi" are really close & know each other for years they're really funny together
Seongjoong is the second most popular ship and the best one tbh especially cause even the members call them mom and dad.
My favorite ships actually weren’t in this video, sansang which is San and yeosang bc San tends to baby yeo even tho yeo is the older one and it’s very soft and cute, woosang which is yeosang and wooyoung bc they have that playful relationship from being friends for like 8/9 years now since they knew eo since predebut for awhile and have a lot of soft yet funny moments. Yeosang is my bias so my favorite ships r a lil biased lmao but all the ships in ateez r really unique and cute whichever two members r put together
All ateez’s ships are adorable but my favourite are seongjoong (seonghwa/hongjoong, their dynamic is so chaotic in a good way), sanhwa (seonghwa and san together are the most precious and rudest duo at the same time) and woosang (wooyoung and yeosang PLEASE THEY’RE SO 😭❤️)
Hey, I hope you react to Seongjoong tiktoks cause they are a hidden gem with different kind of relationship. I mean Hongjoong literally wrote a song for Seonghwa called 'Thank u'. They are like a married couple with 6 kids. Funny thing is that the members call Hwa the mom and Hongjoong the dad.

Honestly I have never been invested to kpop group friendship as much as I am now bcs of seonghwa and hongjoong. And I have been a kpop fan since 2012. Their dynamic is so spot on for a ride lol push and pull ajsjjs and on top of that, Hongjoong is a huge tsundere lmaooo I believe they are meant to meet and be bestfriends. So quick info, before they joined kq, they went to the same academy but they didnt know each other. Seonghwa was not really feel so sure about himself back then and the principal told him about this certain boy who were enrolled earlier and who worked harder than anyone else. Seonghwa felt motivated after listening to the story principal told him so he worked harder. And it was later he discovered that the certain boy principal told him about was Hongjoong 😭😭
Me personally didn't into pairing things that much, but except for ATEEZ 😄 my favorite ship in ATEEZ are "Matz/SeongJoong" (Seonghwa and Hongjoong) they're like a real parents in ATEEZ 💖💖 and another one is "YunGi" (Yunho and Mingi) these two are close friends many years before joining ATEEZ and their head spin is one of the cutest things that I've ever seen 😆

All of them are so… much. Just in the logbook (their behind the scenes style vlogs) that was released yesterday Hongjoong was sitting and called Yeosang over. Yeosang was happily all ”okay, I’ll take my usual seat” and mf-ing KNEELED. Back straight, hands perfectly placed on his thighs. No mercy for our hearts.
And Wooyoung will very happily tell everyone how much he loves it when Hongjoong is mean to him and bosses him around 💀 as he said in the Showterview with Sunmi: ”it made my heart flutter”.
Sorry, but YeoHo (Yeosang and Jongho) is a missed opportunity of naming in a pirate-themed group. Also, the Mingi ones are gee, not jee. Min-gee versus Min-jee. Yunho and Mingi have been friends forever, hence the head spin. Yeosang and Wooyoung were together as trainees at Hybe before leaving to join KQ and debut with ATEEZ. Matz (short for eldest, which in Korean is mathyung, the opposite of maknae) is one of my fave pairings of Seonghwa and Hong Joong. They're kinda adorable together. I'm a bit of a Yungi bias just because I'm team tall guys, but if I had to pick a secondary ship to sail, it would be Yeosang and San because they're so tender with each other, usually with San as the cuddler and Yeosang as the happy-but-put upon cuddlee. Glad you got into a ships video!

mingi is pronounced ming-e (it’s hard to explain through the comments but a good way to figure out the pronunciation is through listening to how they pronounce it
the best way i can explain it is the gi has a g sound not a j sound

All the different dynamics within ATEEZ are lots of fun and they are all just very lovely, buuut I have a few personal favourites like seongjoong (Hongjoong & Seonghwa), so-called dad and mum of the group - the other members call them those too occasionally. Seonghwa is the oldest and very caring, Hongjoong the second oldest and the captain, and there's a lot of depth in their relationship.
Also sansang (San and Yeosang), as San is so careful, so loving with Yeosang - like San threats him so gently, gets into arguments with atiny saying Yeosang belongs to him and just recently informed us he likes to give Yeosang kisses when Yeo walks past him in their dorm. And Yeo is such and adorable baby with San.
And yungi, Mingi and Yunho are devastatingly adorable yet spicy, and topaz, Wooyoung and Hongjoong, have been acting up a lot lately (as in Wooyoung openly declaring multiple times he likes when Hongjoong orders him around and treats him badly - Seonghwa has said as well that a bossy Hongjoong is hot...we have some kinky boys in our group ;D) Aaaand Jongho and Yeosang have such a precious bond. And...yeah, all of them 😁
Btw about the name pronunciations: when you see G in Korean names, it's safe to assume it's pronounced like hard G like "game" - so Mingi is almost more like Minki (so not Minji). And the letter A is pronounced like A in "car" not the A in "cat" or "sand" - this for San and Yeosang. And just in generally for Korean names and words. (I hope I didn't explain this weirdly, English isn't my native language so it's a bit hard to try to find ways to help with pronunciation)

Now I will say Kpop has ruined the term ship for me😂. People tend take shipping too far in kpop. It’s usually the editing/and music. Like u can tell they try to make it more than just sweet and adorable bonds between people who r clearly just friendships. Prime example is Woosan. They turn almost every sweet innocent friend(ship) video of them to something so over sexualized.
