    New-ish viewer and returning to Pokémon TCG after probably more than a decade, I really love your detailed deck descriptions and explanations of all the includes. Really helps me better understand the metagame and the card choices I see in every deck. Keep it up!

      Thanks for watching! My primary goal is to help new players get into the competitive side of the game, so I’m glad things are working out with you!

    Thanks for making this somewhat accessible for less experienced players. I haven't been up to date with the actual game since like~ 2016 ish when last I really played. Even then I wasn't really up on meta stuff, just making decks with pokemon I like. You explain things very detailed without being hard for someone less skilled to understand.

    Blissey/Munkidori next please. I also saw a Stall Exploud deck on one of the reddits that looked pretty annoying to play against.

    Try Schemanske’s build from NAIC. It looks odd without the chinchillas but man, it’s really good and a little more aggressive.

    I play mew ex in mine. The ability to copy someone’s attack is just incredibly valuable. Especially in that gardy match. You could have played the mew, and bossed the Greninja and moonlight shuriken some ralts or something.

      Mew ex is a reasonable option! I’ve featured Mew in multiple Lugia videos before, such as this one czcams.com/video/dsnbF0WxKyA/video.htmlsi=vJXnLfLmaV8W_isa

    • @monarchy028
      @monarchy028 Před 27 dny

      Cornerstone ogerpon while situational, has won me games against decks that use too many abilities.

  • @dirtyjimmydonitdirtymob8453

    That first match why would you not iron hands to get 3 so that way it’s check mate for one prize card 22:05

    • @InThirdPerson
      @InThirdPerson  Před měsícem +2

      If I used Iron Hands in that situation, I would be forced into having to take 7 prizes instead of 6, as they had no single prizers on the board. Furthermore, I wasn’t comfortable committing energy at that point to Iron Hands when it could not one-shot either Mew or Ogerpon on the following turn.
      Also, if they had a damage modifier like a Defiance Band, they could potentially knock out Iron Hands with Ogerpon.
      Going with 2 Cinccino put me in a position where I a clear path to taking 4 prizes in the next 2 turns.
      There are almost always multiple routes one can take, which makes this game fun. I went with what I felt was going to win me the game in the next two turns and this scenario, it worked out.

      I actually did an extensive explanation in a video on why I didn’t use Iron Hands on that turn and I still stand by my decision based in the rationale I outlined here: czcams.com/video/c5RE8OciZNA/video.htmlsi=urdbOx0y9i8Q9XiX&t=7m21s
