Join us on the building site. Follow the easy installation steps our electrical engineer takes in order to make a successful and reliable connection. Reliable, long term connections are guaranteed thanks to the compact dimensions of the moulding shells and the perfect fit for precisely defined cable cross sections. Successful joints can be made in wet environments because the cast resin has excellent hydropobic properties.
RELICON cast resin joints can be used for cables and wiring with plastic sheaths made from PVC, PE, EPR and VPE such as N(A)YY, NYCWY.
    Properties at a glance:
    ► Two-part, impact-proof, transparent moulding shells
    ► Compact, optimized dimensions
► Standard cable diameters indicated on the shells
    ► Safe-Filling system (SF)
    ► Ready for immediate use
    ► Longitudinally and transversely watertight
► Joint can be cast under influence of water
Note: this video clip was produced to show European audiences how quick and easy it is to make reliable connections with HellermannTyton's RELICON Reliseal joint set. There are many different cable variants from country to country. The cable selected for this demonstration (unarmoured NYY underground cable commonly applied in Germany) is therefore only illustrative.

I'm happy about the fact that someone still produces, after 120 years, branches for underground cables joints with resin cast. Of course back in those days they used cast iron for the branches and tar as a sealant, but wow, still nice

I like the cable lug that also acts as separator. Genius design. This product is simple and fast to install.

Why don't you show a T- Line or Y- Line joint being made and filled. Straight Joint no problem at all

Hi @High Trees, good question. At the end, it's quite the same procedure. So stay tuned for more videos to come, best wishes, Nico

@@HellermannTyton-Global Hi thanks for the reply. Using Steel Armoured Cable can be a bit awkward ( Wrestling ) with such cable trying to keep it in the T/Y - Line joint. 1.5 and 2.5. As when you cut the cable in half, now you have two pieces to join plus the third cable coming out from the T/Y - Line joint. Look forward to these videos. Thanks.
