Me and my family got plan to go in celebrity to Belize my question why the ship don’t go all the way in to port instead they do those mini boats what’s the reason for that?

The cruise ships don’t go all the way in because there is a series of reefs of the coast. The reefs are protected and are a part of the natural beauty of Belize.
“The Belize Barrier Reef is a series of coral reefs straddling the coast of Belize, roughly 300 meters offshore in the north and 40 kilometers in the south within the country limits. Wikipedia”
So they have to take the “mini boats” which are called “tenders”
Belize is starting a major project to build a cruise port with a bridge / causeway to the main land but probably won’t be completed for several years.
