I provided security for Tobbie when I was a deputy sheriff in western Nebraska. He was playing at the county fair. I sat on the bleachers next to his bus. He hadn't really made the big time yet. Anyway, it was hot as hell that day and I was dying in my uniform and vest. Suddenly the door to his bus opened and this blonde haired giant told me to come in and have a beer. He wouldn't take no for an answer. Long story short I had a quick beer (Miller Light) with the legendary Keith. I cried when he left us and downed a bottle of Elijah Craig. RIP Toby.

I took my nephew to his first concert as a 16th birthday present. It was Toby Keith in Birmingham, Alabama. We rode 2 hours to see him, playing Toby Keith softly in the background as we talked. This song certainly says it all about my first true love. We parted, which was the best thing😢 to happen to both of us because we both found the one. That said, there has always been a special place in my heart for Linda. My love for my dear Pat, wife of almost 53 years, was stronger as a result of my love for Linda. Sadly, she lost her true love after only 19 years of marriage to diabetes. I consider myself truly blessed despite losing Pat a year and a half ago.

I have always loved Toby Keith - since the fist time I saw his concert I-was HOOKED… His strong, sexy, powerful voice and his amazing words are going to be so missed….Gone so young just hurts my heart…. Wow this video takes me back. I'm 28 but was Obsessed with Toby throughout my childhood. Reminds me of being about 6 on my Granny's farm watching my Grandpa work in the metals shed. Smells of thistle and horses.

I took my nephew to his first concert as a 16th birthday present. It was Toby Keith in Birmingham, Alabama. We rode 2 hours to see him, playing Toby Keith softly in the background as we talked. There was so many facets to this man...party animal, patriot, entertainer, songwriter, husband, daddy and most importantly, believer and lover of Jesus Christ. This song certainly says it all about my first true love. We parted, which was the best thing😢 to happen to both of us because we both found the one. That said, there has always been a special place in my heart for Linda. My love for my dear Pat, wife of almost 53 years, was stronger as a result of my love for Linda. Sadly, she lost her true love after only 19 years of marriage to diabetes. I consider myself truly blessed despite losing Pat a year and a half ago.
