Mike was using pharmaceutical grade amphetamines. Possibly Adderall or Ritalin? I cannot find any articles stating he abused meth. Dr. Mike is obviously smart enough to know the difference between the two. Meth has an awful stigma (rightfully so!) and can no doubt ruin a person's reputation.
