Well, yes. It is Irish. In fact, "Tríd an storm" is Irish for "Through the storm"
Also, her first line is pretty easy to directly translate: "Ní beidh sé ag filleadh"
"Beidh" is the past tense of "Bí", meaning "Be" and comes after "Ní", basically meaning "not", "Sé" means "He" (similarly, "Sí" means "She") "Ag" is basically the equivalent of putting "ing" on the end of a verb in English and "Filleadh" means return.
And there's your first lesson in native Irish. Don't try to learn the rest because it will pan-fry your brain to a rather high extent, especially when is comes to vowels.

I find animated shorts like this so much better than full length movies because so much more thought and emotion goes into making things like this. Maybe it's because the production teams are smaller and is easier to converse with each other. Anyways, this animated short is one of the BEST I've ever seen.

I’m laughing now. I see a sequel where they go back and forth, playing keep away with the mystical moonstone until the spirit hounds just give up one by one, do that turnaround circles thing and lie down to sleep with little mournful “chuffs”. The banshee has gone from “aaahhhhhh” to “arrgh” to “ohhh”; finally an exasperated little “phooey”. She sits and starts mending all the smartphones that have arrived at her feet. She watches “Death Fails” and “ Death Sails” on CZcams; begins giggling uncontrollably 😁. Recommend those by the way. Don’t know if I can link in a comment.

Aah, a good old "mortal getting screwed over by the fair folk" kinda story. Reminds me of a tale my grandpa told me about a rich noble who met a man that claimed he was a fay. The noble challenges the man to prove his claim and the man replies that he'll do so by granting one of the noble's wishes. The noble haughtily replies that he already has everything he could ever wish for and, at this point, all he can wish for is for the man to prove that he is a fay... At the end of the story, (which is a bit too long to include here in its entirety,) the noble has lost his fortune, his house has burned down, his friends have turned their backs on him, his children have drowned in the brook, his wife has died from a broken heart, he has gone blind, become a cripple, is dying from some disfiguring pox and when he finally seeks out a priest to at least receive his last rites before he passes on, the priest says to him that he will be unable to enter heaven as he's already entered an agreement with a heathen spirit from 'neath the hills. Thus the noble's wish came true: All he wished for was to know if the man really was a fay, and the knowledge that he indeed was a fay was all he was left with.
Moral: Don't take the things you have for granted and never stop appreciating the things you do have. After all, everything you have now were once things that you merely wished that you had. Never stop wishing that you get to keep the things you appreciate... Also, never, ever act smug with a fay. They'll fuck your shit up.

My review for english class lol (Spoiler warning):
Accepting reality and ones own situation is key in moving on after a tragedy. Engaging in pseudoscience will never give you what you want. The impossible task of trying to bring back someone from the dead only binds grievers to their past memories with overlying emotional pain and suffering. Immediately in the short film Through the Storm by Fred Burdy, an ominous, dreary, and somber tone is set by the heavy storm, intense waves and the banshee. The unnamed protagonist tries to bring her lover back to life through the banshee’s black magic, yet she doesn’t get exactly what she asked for. The banshee even states: “I forewarn the end of lives. I do not restore them.” The exchange of life between her and her husband at the end signifies how striking a deal with a shady force can end poorly. As she becomes forever bound to a world of sorrow, she continues to dwell on something that cannot be truly changed. The banshee’s scream at the very end aligns with her death and binding to the netherworld. Her agony is now eternal. Fred Burdy uses the gloomy tone and the banshee to symbolize the sadness of not moving on from her plight to revive her husband. Tragedy breeds grievance, but that grievance must not be acted upon or it can forever shackle one to the past.

I only wish we could discuss how the banshee named the protagonist mortal, as if that meant that she was somehow lesser. In every mythos, yes, the mortal is finite in life, but deeper in power. The gods always depend on them. The supernatural forces and creatures envy them. And for good reason: The terminality of that life they have makes it vivid and meaningful, and the potential that they have of life after, in whatever form, under any mythos, is always present and worth fulfilling and chasing.

I believe the banshee screams with compassion and empathy too. She knows but cannot share her knowledge although she states the truth each time. The fact that another young woman is hearing her but not listening to her is released in ribbons of frustration throughout her shrieking. She comes to the young wife to confirm the husband is dead; she will keen for her to begin the grieving process. But instead the banshee sees an unnatural exchange take place before her eyes. She screams in grief of her own at the end because the young wife looks like her own blood; maybe a great great granddaughter. Now the banshee has to watch another become all that she herself already is and in her last scream some lost hope shivers away.

This kind of story has been told forever in different cultures and generations, though it never gets old.
    SPOILER DOWN BELOW:
I loved it. At first I didn't think any of the equivalent exchange idea, that THAT was what the Banshee had in mind, but it dawned on me when I saw the final scene. It's a tragic end,as it always is. These deals with the supernatural beings is always....well,you'll never really win in the end, they'll always spin it how they want.
You'll always have too choose your words carefully,as this woman did not. She was warned by the Banshee that she doesn't restore life, but the woman was too stubborn and started to threaten the Banshee.
In the end, nothing changed, they are still worlds apart. This is so heartbreaking :(

All the same, a fate that was justly doled. Entitlement and arrogance are ugly things, even in grief.

I guess there are two morals in this story, be careful what you wish for in the dark, and don't mess with the paranormal.
