Watch the video of one of the best, unique and one of the loudest Mascletas we saw from a balcony during the Fallas Festival in 2018. Many might be confused why this is appealing to anyone but trust me, this video doesn't do justice and you need to see a Mascleta for yourself and once from a balcony.
A Mascleta by the way is a super loud daylight firework!
Yes we can say that we're Mascleta connoisseur (oh that would be fun name for a website). We say that proudly after over a 100 Mascletas we've seen. We might be half deaf BUT it's all worth it!
So today's Mascleta was sick. The finale was so intense but you can see that by my super shaky camera work. But I couldn't help :).

Ich war 2019 den ganzen März in Valencia. Das direkte Erlbnis kann man in keinem Film wiedergeben. Die ganze Stadt ist ein Fest mit Feuerwerk überall.
I watched from the street, up close. The street was trembling, my body too! It was so good, I want to go back!
`Same for me. First time I went to Las Fallas de Valencia I was so naive I was expecting it to be something similar to an English Carnival, and therefore `snook up close.`
The second time I went I stood a quarter of a mile away, and still had pieces of timber falling on top of me hea`rd.

For us, the people of Valencia, this is normal mascleta..... Imaging listening to this when you were 2-3-4-5-6 years old and you were scared and hidding down the living room table.... what a memory of the fallas war!!!

Hallo, gibt es überhaupt "DIE" beste Mascleta? Wir finde das es immer wieder super Mascletas gab und geben wird. Wenn wir nur an Zeiten denken wo Europla und Vicente Caballer noch dabei waren. Ein Traum von Mascletas von diesen beiden Firmen. Oder die letzten Jahre von Marti, Vulcano und natürlich die von RICASA 2019. Was hat RICASA da für ein Rhythmus hingelegt. Wahnsinn. Am Anfang des Monats unter der Woche kommt man auf einen Balkon fuer ca 25 Euro. An den letzten 5 Tagen steigt der Preis bis zu 200 oder sogar 500 Euros!!!

@@PyroChriss Das ist machbar ... aber muss früh gebucht werden. Ab Mitter Februar geht der verkauf der Tickets meistens los.

They have night mascletas like this one : czcams.com/video/52OXv3fxu7o/video.html but every Valencia would always prefer the daytime Mascletas - they're hard to describe, it's a feeling. You should come and check one out for yourself, after that night time fireworks might be boring :)
It's all about the noise, nothing else. That is the point of the whole thing

It totally understand jour point and if someone would show me this video, I wouldn't see the appeal either BUT it's something you have to experience in person.
