In this #vanlife video we're going to tell why we chose Arctic Tern and Motion windows for our RAM Promaster build, where we go them from, how much they cost, what we like and don't like about them and issues we encountered when installing them.

Thank you for sharing the window cost information. This gives me a better sense of the value when I look at used vans and compare prices among them.
Thanks that was very helpful 👍
Am searching for your next video on insulation. Would also like to see water system and electrical videos. Thanks!
I’ll put insulation and heat up soon, hopefully next week.
Awesome video, thank you
Thanks for watching!
Good vid, folks. Been trying to delve into some of your library. The wife and I bit the bullet and are waiting on a Promaster to do a build on in anticipation of retiring. Glenn, was there some "colorful vernacular" when you experienced the kick back with the angle grinder and clipped the van? 😵 You guys are obviously midwesterners (seems like anyway). Michigan or Wisconsin maybe? Looking forward to more adventures and Promaster content. Dan n Cheryl in the mitten
There was certainly colorful language. We are originally from Western PA, lived in WA, NC, SC and the past few years before retiring in Albuquerque. If you’re detecting an accent that’s Pittsburgh.
@@CubbyVanLife Albuquerque...you must know Jesse Pinkman 😆
Great video, enjoyed watching, how many miles have you clocked so far, and has the pro master been reasonably reliable overall.
Thanks George, we have 51k on it now and it has been incredibly reliable. I’d buy another.
Not only have they jumped big in price im not fan of the push button before you can unlatch; one side feels more natural but the there opposite you feel like you need flip your hand. Yes they also scratch real easily. Glass doesnt and glass is also flat doesnt bulge outward asking to get scratched. Now is glass have better thermal properties probably not but are you going to really notice in small space with heater going anyways and glass window off eBay say 200$ same size from TERN 750$
Also i dont know it the arm attachment is screw to frame or riveted, i have found rivets get sloppy over time
Had these same windows for 13 years in a trailer. Worth every penny. Id buy them again. Thanks for your comments.
