No one ever brings it up in best lyrics, but I honestly think "they say people in your life are seasons" is one of the smartest lyrics ever said. This era Kanye was golden, it's a real shame.
Adam was the perfect singer to collaborate with on this one. Even kanye knew he made the right choice with that falsetto at the end..look at the little nod he gave adam...still sounds dope after all this time.
hahaha it's funny because i always thought this song would be so much better without adam. I thought his vocal tone stuck out like a sore thumb on this track. its all personal opinion but honestly ill still side with you on this one just because I have blind faith for kanyes taste in anything sonic.
makes me think of relationships that ended that I thought would always be…gotta accept reality but the memories seem so real, but then I snap out of it and reality hits me like a brick….makes me tear up but this song helps a lot.

I've only listened/heard this song a few times in my lifetime. I'm only 21, so in 2005 I was still somewhat young. But I heard about this shit storm going on in the US right now about racism and for some reason I started singing "I heard em say, nothing's ever promised tomorrow today..." I need this kind of Kanye to speak up
nawww, when he speak up, u guys tear him down, he did it during the Katrina televised event, u guys tear him down, when he speak out against the grammy for lack of nominations and wining for black ppl, guys tear him down.
Sean Houlker I'm not in that crowd. His "rant" made on the Ellen show was profound and inspirational. At least, that's how I viewed it. My mother too. He was speaking real stuff. I don't need Kanye to rap about bleaching your asshairs... I preferred this one; but I guess it's all about what sells.
I get u, for me he can be a contradiction, but if listen to the album Watch the Throne, he said, he tired of fighting and u fight for a nation that only berate u, it's hard to keep on fighting, listen to New Day from the album
Kanye west is so underappreciated he's so talented and is one of the top producer rappers ever 21 grammeys speaks for itself it not all about awards to me either.
Kanye has made some of my favorite music and he is one of the best Artists imo but he not one of the best MC's. His wordplay or bars isn't what makes Kanye so great. It is his production and message (in his old music) and his ability to create a project

The animation is like a red bull commercial and a early 2000’s adult swim show smashed together.
This is hella accurate lmao
So fucking brilliant tho
And punk'd!
Kanye the only nigga that can make old school music ahead of its time.
This song hits my soul and almost brings me to tears.
That’s what Kanye’s music does man. It just pierces the soul. It’s so honest and real.
Nothings ever promised tomorrow today .
that joke brought me to tears
@@YeezySZN990 go support ilhan Omar .
@@trenhen4311 only his older songs. The newer ones I’m a little disappointed but I like older style more
Hey guys here from 2024 we have a piano in my school and I'm at primary school, my teacher (mr daily)said if I can try and learn this song because I can play on piano lots of songs and he said if I learn this song he will give me 20 dojos if you dont know what dojos is its basically points and wish me luck by pressing like (you dont have to if you dont want to cus I'm not bragging for likes)btw if you wanna know which year I am in year 5 wish me luck pls❤
Good luck kid!
Good luck ❤
I miss the old kanye 🥲
"They say people in your life are seasons and everything happens is for a reason" That line hit differently
He has a beautiful voice!!
hahaha it's funny because i always thought this song would be so much better without adam. I thought his vocal tone stuck out like a sore thumb on this track. its all personal opinion but honestly ill still side with you on this one just because I have blind faith for kanyes taste in anything sonic.
Adam is perfect!! On this song
Miss that dude. RIP Old Kanye
I miss this Kanye.
When you actually fully understand this song, It is okay to show some tears. At least I did.
💯💯
🥲
makes me think of relationships that ended that I thought would always be…gotta accept reality but the memories seem so real, but then I snap out of it and reality hits me like a brick….makes me tear up but this song helps a lot.
@@tswagg504 this song also makes me think of past relationships
"With every worthless word we get more far away"
How we sound arguing with each other sometimes.
Facts bro!
Powerful comment 100 👏 We all need to share love!
“They say that people in your life are the seasons and anything that happen is for a reason”-life changing lyric
Vultures is good but I miss this
how could you try and say Kanye is NOT a musical genius
He's definitely a gay fish we can all agree on that
Marius Møller notice how no one agreed with you?
@@Rohit-jv7nl that's just all the other gay fishes
Marius Møller gay fish isn’t an insult
@@Rohit-jv7nl do you like fish sticks?
i miss the old Kanye, these lyrics are classics.
Same man, its like no one cares to make good rap anymore with a few exceptions like kendrick lamar but rappers like young thug and future ruined rap. maybe old Kanye will come back along with the old lil wayne
He still has some really good songs. Saint Pablo, Real Friends, No More Parties in LA, Ultralight Beam and FML.
Nicholas Lim ZJ "few" cant go bye that, 9/10 of his stuff now is garbage
He too busy branding himself to care now
Shoes and clothes are his focus
So be prepared for more Yeezy jumping over jumpman songs
exactly.
Common passed on this beautiful beat.
Even today this song is classic
This is soul food man.... Wish this song came out right now, the world needs more music like this now more than ever. All good tho, timeless music lasts forever.
-Paint The Sky,Blew!!!
SkyBlew yes brother , now there no more people just flesh bags with clothes
Amen
SkyBlew I know this is an old comment but amen man
So true
Skyblew if you can see this do a cover please
“Claiming money is the key so keep on dreaming. And put them lottery tickets up just to tease us.”
These lyrics hit different after transitioning from grade school to an independent adult...
adam killed this too..
Naaa give Adam Levine his props, man can sing!!!
***** underappreciated with 21 grammys?
This got me through some real deep dark times...💯
Visuals by MaNnY i hope you feel better now my brother ❤️
Visuals by MaNnY Kanye do really help us through tough times..
lol
Visuals by MaNnY yes he did...me as well
On gang Bro 💯💯💪
True nostalgia of the times
The way they flow together is insane and this song still hold up till this day and on🖤🖤
Only real hip hops heads know why kanye is one of the greatest M.Cs
I would say that about him in his earlier years on his career where he made great rap like this but now he's just another radio scum rapper....
Paladin doesnt mean you should discredit his earlier work
Paladin Kanye's new music barely gets played on the radio lmfao, you clearly don't know what you're talking about.
What are u talking about, I mean his easier music is good and new stuff is shit
Kanye has made some of my favorite music and he is one of the best Artists imo but he not one of the best MC's. His wordplay or bars isn't what makes Kanye so great. It is his production and message (in his old music) and his ability to create a project
Damn I miss being a kid
This does bring back memories
Being was kid was cool NO BILLS the good oldays
I don't... kind of
You're only as old as you feel!
Steven Matamoros RIGHT last time I saw this music video was years ago.
no joke spent 24hr straight going through every Kanye song. Each a masterpiece in its own right. Ignore the Publicitity and appreciate this artist before he gone like MJ
Ye thats a great song actually
The piano keys the poetic verses from ye the melodic voice from Adam Levine this song really makes you cry
Kanye's eyes look sad and deep in thought. I think he's a lovely person, just hurting. Praying for him.
This was his deepest track he's made and imo his best ever song
This song is an old song, since 2005
I know that feeling so well 😢😢😢
@@Jameslawz Idk about deepest track he's definitely gone deeper, especially after 808s.
