- A walk round the Pan Pac, Singapore 5 star hotel. Big day tmr - Cricket World Cup Final Aus v NZ; Lewis on pole Malaysian F1; Lee Kuan Yew funeral here... and in that order, the world as I see it... ;-)

The PanPac was the first hotel I stayed at in Singapore back in 2005. Fond memories. Nice to see it's still in good shape!

Good memories your video brought me. My first time in Singapore, 1987, during Miss Universe pageant that year. Miss Brazil,was a coleague of mine, and they(candidates) stood in Marina Mandarin and families at Pan Pac. It is renovated, for sure, but nice views. Thanks!

Thanx. Goh Chok Tong as PM 1990-2004. I think he was doing time between father and son - but I'm naturally inclined to be critical of authority. All good leaders - I'll truly respect this place when they have multi party politics etc, a sign of human maturity, ppl decide their leaders...
In terms of the most basic 'Deluxe Rooms', how would you rank the Pan Pacific against the Conrad Centennial, Marina Mandarin, and Swissotel?
For basic deluxe rooms - I'd go for Swissotel - the views and location great, and rooms have balconies. Pan Pac 2nd, Conrad 3rd...

Dear Mrkesavaraj, would you recommend the Pan Pacific or the JW Marriott south beach for booking the club category rooms? Like which hotel offers better club benefits? Am considering a trip to SG so would really appreciate your opinion. thanks 😃

Well that's helped me make my mind up, I'm heading out to Singapore for the first time. The rest of my family used to live in Singapore during the RAF Changi days so its about time I paid the country a visit. I'm also an F1 fan so will combine the two, looking forward to it immensely. Ritz Carlton - I'll let you know when I find the Ophir Gin you suggested. A Four Seasons Hotel always beats a Ritz Carlton.... the issue is stupid staff; RC failed me that day... and so I'll tell the world Ritz Carlton are second best...

yeah, I just spending my 45 min of my life here. Top Gear is my favourite show, I watched every single of episode. No JC, no more TG.
TG will continue - BBC will continue with TG and different presenters... question is where Jeremy Clarkson, May and Hammond will continue with TG, they made the show...
and now there is 2 episode left of season 22. I just hoping for The Return of Jeremy. ;)
pstaldzor My fave show on TV is Air Crash Investigation - kinda reminds me when you talk of episodes - I watch ACI on CZcams; also mentally tick off episodes watched. They're also like 45 mins vidoes; I apologise for this video - future vids like 25 mins or so ;-)
Thought of staying this hotel but Mandarin Oriental is blocking the damn view!
