I used to stay up late and listen to this album when I was younger. Now, here we are decades later, and I'm still staying up late and listening to this album... I'd trade it all to have Freddie back with us.
One of my all time favorite Queen songs. Beautiful. They were magic. Cheers to you too my darling Freddie!
Queen sings it...It IS a Queen Song!!!
Freddie was the brains and balls of Queen!
Great Song!!
The Earls Court concert is one of my favorite Queen concerts on CZcams.
Beautiful beautiful Freddie, I miss your voice so much, RIP Freddie, talented beautiful Freddie, they broke the mold with you.
And love you Brian May as well. Long live Queen!
:-)
I love this song so much it makes my day when I hear it
this is great ive never seen them do this wonderful song live. luv this song!
This concert its one of the best of Queen!
i like this song. Queen 1 is underrated
QUEEN te amo con toda mi alma no sabes cuanto daría mi vida poe ti ERES EL MEJOR!!!!!
Wow, this is a huge trip down memory lane. Judging by Freddie's harlequin outfit its from the 1977 tour. I saw them in Glasgow and its so wonderful to relive the times and with such good quality.
Between 1973 and 1977, Queen released six albums and naturally choices had to be made otherwise gigs would have lasted about four/five hours.
Thanks for posting this.
Heavens, I was 21 back then, where have the years gone.
Did you manage to see them live?
That just plain rocks!
thank God for youtube! i'm finding so many videos i haven't seen before!
well, thank you for putting it in simple terms for me... how generous of you! And you're smart too! Wow.
Queen always remained true to their music/art. They were the smartest band around in their day. There are more young people like you who have discovered Queen and found out how music has been "dumbed down" for the masses. I congratulate you on appreciating Queen and hope you get as many years of enjoyment from them as I have (35 years so far). Seeing them live was awesome.
the ad lib bit (2' 45") really seems spontaneous, May & Deacon just loop their parts, waiting for Mercury's cue - how very Rock n Roll!
i saw queen in concert 4 times...my first concert i was 4th row from the stage, i almost caught freddie's tamborine he threw to the audience....i was on a high weeks after that............i miss queen
Where did you see them?
@@gretelkulupka8704 Oakland calif
@@scaramoochscaramooch So lucky! Do you have any memorabilia of it? Long Live Queen!
@@gretelkulupka8704 i bought a Queen shirt $6.95 so cheap back then....I didnt record it. Not Like like today everyone has iphones. i saw them 1977, 1978, 1980, 1982 . I loved there older stuff. Check out Queen II album....OMG will blow you away
@@scaramoochscaramooch Queen II is one of the best albums of all time! Love Queen!
A fantastic band, drippping with talent, all 4 of them!
Fabulous!
if you are with the people that love you, you're doin more than alright!
Very underrated song.
I love how their music is sophisticated and doesen't bore you with one simple riff throughout the entire song
my favorite band and im 14
You just feel they'd been playing this song for about 10 years before it got this mojo feeling. Great song, but it really matured with age (or maybe they matured ...)!
yes it is. it was a free concert to the public and it was filled.
Que saudade...
Brian May faz a base, o solo, e ainda dobra o solo da guitarra de uma vez só.
Gênio.
ameizing
I saw them in L.A. during their Hot Space tour in 1982. Billy Squier opened for them. My high school friends like Queen but after the concert, they LOVED them. They are great musicians with an awesome catalog of songs and Freddie was a master showman who could get a crowd fired up. Freddie can sing anything, all styles of music and the range of an opera singer. Such a talented man.
I did see Paul Rodgers and Queen in concert and paid $350 for VIP seats through the Queen Fan Club.
Wow so lucky! Did you happen to tape the LA show? Cheers.
@@gretelkulupka8704 No smart phones in 1982. It would’ve been hard to smuggle a camcorder into the stadium. Unfortunately I couldn’t tape it. I have great memories though!
Such good music at young age guarantees a bright future, my friend.
absolutely
...genialne.....
Oh My! I'm so covered in goosebumps
The best speech I've ever heard lol
OK just checked it out. They performed a free gig at hyde in 1976. This being 1977, was not free.
😎🎹🎤😎🎸😎🥁😎🎸
12 years later for me. same year as the album "The Miracle"...hmmm I wonder if he knew...
John and Roger are so tight on this one!
Sounds like an MXR Phase 90 but it's actually a Foxx Phaser. They started making them again recently.... Yes I need to get out more.
This one off the songs Queen(Brian+Roger) wrote before Freddie got in the picture
Freddie Mercury is so cool, drinkin' champain on stage. :D
On your mark, get ready, Queen wins the race before the gun fires.
Right well... written by Brian May -- Brian is in Queen... obviously, he had rights to the song. So, it once was performed by Smile but it is officially a Queen song, I believe. Smile is pretty much comprised of Queen anyway -- Roger and Brian. Why split hairs over whose song it is?? Roger & Brian ARE QUEEN. Have a nice day. ;-)
@bankyedwards37 So would I. I´m now 47 years young but I so miss Freddie!!
BARBARO
actually, i think it was in 76 when they did earls court for free.
@bankyedwards37 Well said !!!!!!!!!!!!! Freddie R.I.P
Anyway, I should be doing alright... :')
Thru an AC-30 also. I want that sound but the guitar is going to be tough to get considering his Dad built it.
It IS originally a Smile song. It's here on youtube, just search for Doin' Alright or Smile or whatever. Queens version is better of course. Hehehe. Goes wothout saying, really.
oh shutt up and listen to the song... it's wonderful
Brian May owns Van Halen
No COMMENTS!!! Its beatifull! ;-)
