Despite the macabre nature of the frog watching another frog's dismembered leg being shocked, this may currently be my new favorite video on all the internets.
Even to now this video is still great, only thing i don't get is why the 'cats' are in the water to start off with. Unless they are for example 'salt' which wants to go to the copper to gain an electronj
I like the effort but noted a few inconsistencies, (1)You should have explained why copper cations were in the water/electrolyte in the first place, as viewers would be confused why water hating copper "cats" got into the water in the first place. (2) "All you need is something sweet or sour...that includes a potato" - Huh? potatoes are not sweet or sour, so I think it best to be consistent here and instead tell viewers all you need is an electrolyte which is present in a potato, salt water etc.
How long will the potato battery work if i connect a 10 Watt bulb to the circuit? What handy/easily available metals can we use? How about copper and aluminium? What if i use only one type of metal, say a copper wire only with both sides immersed in two different concentrations of salty/sour liquid? Will it work?

Best educational video I've seen all month. Thanks, guys!
You've apparently never had the pleasure of watching Mr Wizard, 123 Contact or Phil Nye the science guy.

Thank ye who made this! I'm using it with my students and can only hope they find it as entertaining as I do!
It all makes so much sense now, they just explained it the fun way!
Thank you, I really Enjoyed your creative and artistic approach!
Hey are you guys going to make more videos? I want to feature this video as part of a lesson I'm building on electromagnetism
Fantastically creative video. Funny and informative. Please make more!!!
