I enjoyed your vlog and agreed with your assessment of the ferry crossing. It's well worth the extra cost of the ferry over driving through France, especially in the autumn or early spring .

Hi Eddie, Thank you. Margot has an Irish passport, which means we have unlimited travel throughout the EU. We can stay in any EU country for 3 months at a time. Very handy...!!!! ATB, Steve & Margot
Hi Chris, Yes, the ferry was a nice finish to the Europe trip. Helped that it was sunny and clam as well though!! Bit expensive, but we're still finding our feet with this Europe travel, so probably research a lot more on the channel crossing next time. Putting the motorhome in the shed for the UK winter and off to South Africa for 3 months. Staying with the children & grandchildren. Hope to visit Kruga game reserve while we're there as well.... Hi Steve, I have been a keen follower of your journeys and have always been impressed by your filming skills. In the last couple of videos something has caught my eye. As you are walking along videoing you almost appear the have a drone like shot going on which I think is not possible, you seem to be holding something in your right hand but I can't quite make it out. It doesn't appear to be a selfie stick so I am completely baffled. Would you care to share what equipment you are using please?
Hi, I use a small video camera called an Insta 360 One X2. + invisible selfie stick. Here's a link, I bought it on Amazon: amzn.to/3P4jUd1 They are a bit pricey, but the shots you can get are really good, almost like having a camera crew with you! You can do some really good stuff in the edit. They are the shots your seeing on my videos. I do try and hide the fact that I'm holding the stick but one or two 'eagle eyed' subscribers, like yourself spot it..!!!😂 ATB, Steve & Margot
