@@73FPV yeah, im not an expert but i read that while the birds can dive really fast, it takes them a long time to go up high. so if u just go high above them, they will be lazy and give up and then u can come home safely when u get the chance.
@@73FPV instead of going down vertically immediately thrust up when you know he's coming for you, hawks can't change direction as fast as you're drone can. imagine you're a bullfighter pulling the red sheet up as he comes charging in at you. you're drone is the red sheet in this scenario.

No. He did. Knocked me right out of the sky. Battery slid out and messed up the cg. Couldn't take off after that. He was there when I got there.. . He was BIG..2 ft + wing span.

pro tip fellas. if u know ur being targeted by a bird dont descend, climb instead. birds can barely chase you and will usually give up
