Grille 15... The most accurate inaccurate tank? :P But all the MEMEs aside, for me personally, I love it! :)
What's your take on it?
I love it, it's also my fav tier 10 TD, I hold my damage record in it for 10,660 I think it was? I usually spearhead in it though, sniping is lame 😛 SO MANY people told me the same thing, ditch the GLD for IRM, but it's not the same, the speed at it aims in is part of the fun. I have bond rammer and bond GLD on mine, but I did not pick any of the last field mods because with the aiming it makes it feel a bit sluggish due to loss of engine power; it's true, you HAVE to wait and fully aim your shots, the snapshot meta nowadays has made everyone extremely impatient
How the hell is your view range that good?
I marked the grille 15 and I'd take my waffle back in a heart beat compared to this thing. It's so boring to play. Waffle would be fine in today's meta with a few minor changes. Far more toxic tanks in the game now that are MUCH harder to deal with. Grille also should not have had its gun depression nerfed that was just unnecessary
I marked the grille in 52 games, and that gun trolled me quite hard lol. Fully aimed but only critical hits are so damn annoying 😅
Îd take the waffle back as a regular tank over grille, I loved the waffle and grill is meh to me. Even with the big 150mm derpy option it was more fun than grille. Îd take the grill back with both gun options, I was switching guns often on waffle depending on my mood and it was fun. Glad that Rhm and the tier 9 still have both options.
The Waffen trager auf E 100 is absolutely outmatch in it's category the Foch B is almost equal to him but it miss a turret the Waffel would have perfectly his place in the currrent meta where fast wheeled vehicles and equipments 2.0 could help to spot it (which was the main issue with this red line TD, but not today)
Grille doesn't need accuracy, it needs higher standard shell penetration.
My 3 main problems of this tank is, bad camo, it is pretty big but maybe give it 20 camo when full crew with camo.
The bloom is killer on this tank, a gust of wind makes you have to re aim from full.
The penetration, pretty dog shit for a tier 10, should get closer to 300mm Ap and atleast 350mm heat.
However the gun when it behaves means you can easily weakspot snipe.
Other than that, in the right map it is a pretty fun tank to play and a pretty solid tier 10.
That said the waffle 4 is pretty much the better tank in every single way and a tier lower

I love Grille 15, my favorite tank. Flexible and fun to play. Tho i think experimental turbo wouldve been better for this tank instead of aiming speed device. It gives you smaller bloom, so you still could snapshot maybe even better and it also gives you more speed, particularly usefull backwards cause its one of the biggest downsides for me
Grille 15 was a beast when it came out. I liked it better than the WT e100 it replaced. He had medium tank speed, excellent gun handling and you could play with him aggressively. A few months later, WG has nerfed it to the ground and now for me it's pretty much unpleable. The gun handling is atrocious, if you move the chassis the bloom is huge and you are punished every time you move with a bad aim. It's a 100% camper tank now...
If waffle did not have that 50sec reload then I would definitely take that over grille.... though I would still prefer waffle.. The only problem with grille is its very trollish gun..... It misses or bounces the most important shots when it shouldn't miss at all.... and its sooooo frustrating...
I love my grille but for me I wouldn't take glds because it aims fast enough . I used RotationMech the bounty or bond one for traverse and a bit of gunhandling.
My KV2 hits more shots then freaking grille 15 xD
I prefer the Waffle-tiger. It's SOOooooooo much better than my Grille for putting out dmg. It's sqwishy, and blind, but that output is beautiful. i'm finally able to complete high dmg missions with it.
meanwhile the grilles on my team miss the entire enemy tank from 10 feet away
11:52 yeah there is a lot of tanks destroyers, mostly because they are easy to play with, you just camp in the back and try to land a few shells
hmmm.. looks like imma gonna need to grind to that tank to try it out lol!
Wish I got the same RNG you do. My shots either dirt or go outside the fully aimed reticle.
He ammo on grille is so good, managed to hit ebr105's and other lights multiple times for 1000/1050 dmg.

I think there are so many TDs due to War Gaming making meta medium and heavy tanks with high skill cap.
I feel WG over-nerfed the Grille 15 back when they nerfed it. It was certainly OP when it first came out. But now if you look it has one of the worst win rates of any tier 10. So I think it needs a bit of tweaking.
If grille got higher pen and reverse speed... yes

the reason people hate grille ,becoz either you aim FULLY and hit or your not hitting at all , even the slight millimeter of you clicking the mouse button will make you miss !!!! also there is plenty of tanks that can do 90 % of what grille can do but with armor or camo , like strv and jager and even badger , not the same alpha damage but you play the grille for the accuracy anyways
for me the grille plays a lot like the Obj. 140, tho a little more forgiving having 750 alpha, it just horrible to play even tho it has such good accuracy, you have to be fully aimed in AND the enemy has to be fully in your circle to work decently, if it doesn't hit that one pixel that doesn't allow your shot to pen. and shots thatt should hit like on every other tank at range it will never hit half the time. it just baffles me how these two tanks feel like it's codded differently compared to other tanks, the Leo kinda has this problem too, at long range. I want to like this tank
The gun can troll a lot sometime and whenever i penetrate someone with g15 i frequently got a low roll (620 -660)
It highly depend on RNG i have very accurate Scorpion G but hell that shots mostly never go where i was aiming.
Improve rotation works better than gun laying drive for grille, belive me.
Grille need to BUFF camo
I play rammer, aiming and low noise exhaust. Grille has terrible camo and i was spotted every game at 450m. My camo is 22 on the move which is playable.
Maybe I'm super lucky, but my Grille works totally fine, laser accuracy and good penetration, I never understood why ppl say it's a bad gun
Yesterday half of the team was TD in NA, i miss the old days when battles was massively Heavy tanks and medium good days, except by artys, looks like there is 2 types of players the real ones who plays whit heavys mediums and lights, and camaprs TDs and artys, that looks like the arty players moved to TDs

I disagree. When WG stole the WT out of my garage and gave me the grille. I was pissed. I’m still pissed and I ve never like the grille. It’s garbage
114 plays like the Grille should. I love my grille but man, It looks and plays like a slot machine. Fully aimed shots with tanks taking up 90% of the reticle and it still hits dirt.
The dispersion values for traverse make it impossible to snap shot or target track with, If you twitch your mouse anywhere it blooms to the size of texas, for 1200m/s AP it sucks for hitting EBRs
Then the low pen issue where even if you hit there is a high chance it just bounces anyway because it min-pen rolls on a weakspot. Imo the nerfs they did to it were unwarranted.

I like to hate it because its never accurate for me.
Grille is a much better option than the JgPanzerE100
Grille is an ambush type which is flexible in alot of maps unlike the JPE100 that is really just a HEAT meat for opposing tanks
Grille can be use as a support tank but the JPE100 can't even do it's designated type of tank "Assault"
To be honest, it's not JPZ fault. It just the premium ammo spam that ruins it.

I'd rather play the boring Mino with it's inaccurate gun than play the Grille and keep on hitting tracks and miss shots with one of the supposedly "accurate" gun in the game. Also, the fact that Minotauro has a better camo value than grille is just absurd.
only reason i dislike the tank is because it reminds me the took a take i work my tail of to get so it felt like a slap in the face by wargaming
Mine is a piece of shit. I have seven skills in the crew with 80% and use bount aiming, and blue hammer and improoved rotation. My shots spread all around the circle all fully aimed. The vehicle is catastrophic bad: if I hit can't pen, that when I hit. Normally the shots goes to the edge of the circle.
Grille needs strong buffs. The proof is the totally tragic winrate that only falls with the time. On of the worse tier X vehicles and the only pushed over vehicle in the game. Its situtation is unacceptable.
I wanna know which mod you use to show tracking numbers of tracking damage and so on.
