Since her first performance I've been wondering what she's doing on a secular show since I know her from her GCGT days and her song with TY Bello, then it hit me. Esther. Esther in biblical times was also in a secular show and showcased the glory of God for all to see using her gift of beauty yet never compromising the standards of God. Esther has done same effortlessly in a time when people separate faith from their giftings.

If Esther could see this right now I am sure she would invite you to Christ Embassy . She loves you regardless, I also know how hard it is to be consistent with our faith especially when we go through certain situations that it seems God wasn’t there or Christian drama in church. What’s important is your fellowship with God and it can only be nurtured when we go to church and listen to Gods word. Jesus as spirit filled as he was on earth still spent most of his time in church. It shows us the importance of going to the House of God

Actually no. In the studio version Beyoncé does 4 key changes in the chorus, Esther did 5(the last being an incomplete chorus). But when Beyoncé recorded the initial version it was 6 key changes, the last 2 key changes didn't make the cut because the key changes were too high and they didn't want to risk damaging her voice when she'd have to perform it live.

It's funny how people Thinks Esther is using Jesus as a strategy. In this time and age it harder to speak about Jesus but she does it on an international platform she is unashamed. Im just thinking what fear and obstacles she had to overcome to come for this competition and ones she is still overcoming. It's actually easier to go with the flow and not stand for what you believe in. She humbled and made me think of all those times I was quiet about my faith because I didn't want people to think less of me. She has my vote.
My opinion. Considering how ''over-religious'' Nigerians can be, assuming there is a Muslim contestant who sings about Muhammed but equally has great vocals like Esther, don't u think votes will be biased btw Christians and Muslims - like Christians voting for Esther and Muslims voting for the other contestant? While I don't think Esther is using Jesus as a strategy, I feel competitions like this that ain't organised by a religious institution should be RELIGION-NEUTRAL to keep the rationale for voting on the contestants' exhibition of their skills. Otherwise, step by step, The Voice will turn to Shiloh or Adhan.

After Esther's performance, I've had to search CZcams for not just the original video from Beyonce, but also covers of this song including covers on The Voice UK and other musicians. None of those covers went the full number of modulations done by Beyonce, but our own Esther did the entire 4/5 modulations without breaking a sweat, all while dancing and moving around... This girl should be put on an international stage, please. Nigeria is too small for her. Esther, I give it up for you. I'm voting for you, and I really hoping we all forget about sentiments and plenty ginger, choose professionalism instead and vote Esther as our winner. All the best, girl.
