The first season of the American superhero television series The Boys, the first series in the franchise based on the comic book series of the same name written by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, was developed for television by American writer and television producer Eric Kripke. The season was produced by Sony Pictures Television in association with Point Grey Pictures, Original Film, Kripke Enterprises, Kickstart Entertainment and KFL Nightsky Productions.
The show's second season stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Kapon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie and Aya Cash. The story continues the conflict between the two groups with the eponymous Boys, now with the aid of Starlight continuing their efforts to defeat Vought despite being wanted by the government. The conflict is worsened when Butcher learns that Becca is still alive and she is being held captive by Vought with a superpowered son fathered by Homelander. Stormfront, a new superhero with a secret past, joins the Seven and subtly promotes her message throughout the world, with the hopes of convincing an unwitting Homelander to lead Supes to world domination.
The show's third season stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit and Jensen Ackles. Taking place a year after the events of the previous season, the story follows the titular Boys now working for Victoria Neuman's Bureau of Superhero Affairs to apprehend problematic Supes, having been at peace with the Seven. However, the conflict is resumed once Butcher begins to investigate the truth about Soldier Boy, one of Vought's first American superheroes, with the hope of removing Homelander for good. Meanwhile, Homelander's mental stability begins to deteriorate as Vought attempts to restrict his power, while other Seven members such as Starlight and Queen Maeve assist the Boys in their plots against him.

Whenever a character in any TV show says One Last Job, you know it's going to go wrong.
And you guys need to check on the Pepsi add, they didn't even have to change anything about it, it was THAT bad.
Bts facts... the hamster is a character from the comics & they were trying to find some way to incorporate him into story. Also Ackles said his scene getting out of that tank was first scene filmed & he's gotta be totally naked. He said it's all him except a sock!! lol. He was very nervous & embarrassed, but all in good fun. This season just keeps amping it up. Great job guys!!
The actress who plays Kimiko was also in Bullet Train as the concession girl who sold Brad Pitt the bottled water during his fight with Aaron Taylor Johnson and she was also in the 2016 Suicide Squad movie

Ok, Ultimate fun fact, go back to the scene with A-Train and Deep in the hallway arguing, when the deep is up in his face and the camera pans up for a 1/2 a second his pupils are massive like a shark about to attack. I absolutely love those little details, seems like they really care.

Hughie has always been powerless his whole life, the runt, the butt of jokes, even his mother left him, so you can't imagine how liberating it feels to be strong for the first time.
So yes he's loving it.
Temp V also seems to be addictive somehow.
The way he looked in the van, he seemed high.
he's loving it while his friend is about to bleed to death in the same car though. Guy's so high on it, his entire personality went down the drain from a single shot.
That's probably his true personality showing - empathy and emotional support was all he had going for himself. He's never been selfless, just desperate. But to be fair, homelander's pushed him against the edge and made all he used to be worthless.

The problem is he's so obsessed with being 'strong enough' to save people that he's willing to destroy himself in the process.
He's self-destructively helpful. Which never actually helps anyone.
I love the diametric effect of Temp V on Butcher and Hughie. To Butcher it feels like punishment and to Hughie like a real high.
This cast is amazing! Anthony Starr clearly is phenomenal, but he doesn’t have to carry anyone.
He carries the plot, the other actors are good at their roles but their scenes just aren't as entertaining as his. Like when he watched the movie about fighting stormfront, did nothing and it was bloody good. He feels like an anime character, everyone else feels like a good tv drama actor.
The Homelander isn't "one step ahead", he's never been because he's not smart enough. The only reason it may have appeared like that is because Victoria and A-Train both turned Quisling for their own interests.
I agree that this is the reason he was ahead this time but I feel that it’s not because he’s not smart enough, but that he is often clouded by his own selfish needs, and also as someone born in this system it takes a lot of mental effort for someone like him to break through that brainwashing and realize he doesn’t need to listen to these rules. Like when the guys commented about the assumption that they can control homelander, it’s because they believe they have him in a mental cage
The second best episode of Season 3, in my opinion. A perfect mid-season finale.

I love all the Easter eggs that are dropped not just in this episode, but the whole season in relation to the spin-off show “Gen V.” I won’t spoil it for you guys but I highly recommend that you watch Gen V after this season!
Fyi, they have already said few times they are watching it after this season before s4 of the boys

I love A-Train's character, you can tell he is starting to care about his community, but is very naive about it, displaying almost solely a performative level of care, ultimately caring for his individual needs way more.
A-Train cares about his community only because it's a quick easy way to earn points in the public eye. If burning down his community would give him points, he'd be going around with a lit match. Only thing A-Train cares about is himself. He has proven it times and times again.
Take care of your neighbors, the community gets better, the countey will follow, it always starts at an individual level and all we can do is hope others do the same.
A-Train is a clown, the show is for people who need everything spelled out one letter at a time
Can't help but make you wonder what powers everyone has inside them. Hughie's is perfectly hilarious, but darn awesome.
What I'm thinking is if this were a legit hero, how would Vought go about solving the issue of being naked? Tough cookie, this one.

Dam A-Train just continues to disappoint. Feels like the show gave him like MULTIPLE chances for a redemption arc and he has thrown them all away.

I just love the graffiti they made! Also I really appreciate that they actually used real words instead of cyrillic gibberish as usually, and even made those videos in actual russian. And Tanya Bulanova playing in Nina's shop? 👏 I understand that I'm not the main audience of this show, but it's a rare moment when it was made as funny joke and not cringe joke.

Hughie getting high on Temp-V, all The Boys turning on each other, the introduction of my fave supe in the show. Great episode and there's a lot more to come.

Sure it may seem noble to want to get at a racist murderer, but at the cost of being a murderer himself? This entire season A-Train has been trying to look like he's down with the cause and faking it all along, and by the way the Blue Hawk thing ends it just further cements how self-centered and hypocriful he is. Not saying Blue Hawk doesn't deserve it, but thay's not what needed to happen for real change.

Probably favorite episode of every Russian out there, they really made a depiction. Btw, glorious five-year plan refers to Soviet economy, which consisted of such five year plans and mottos 'five years in three year'. Credit song is also something. And there is that parallel between hopelessness of Russian life and Annie's reality now, that life under ruthless dictatorship of some stupidly mighty and evil figure
It’s annoying that they’re trying to make Butcher be the bad guy when he’s the one willing to do what needs to be done. If it wasn’t for the deal he made then Cherie would be dead.

After you guys finish The Boys, don't forget to continue with Gen V, the spin-off of The Boys; it's great, and you can't watch Season 4 of The Boys without watching Gen V because the events of that show lead right into S4 of The Boys.
And when you finish The Fall of the House of Usher, I recommend watching some of these masterpieces: True Detective S1, Mr. Robot, Succession, The Bear, The Leftovers, Dark, Fargo, Barry, Sherlock, Ted Lasso, Fleabag, Hannibal, or Severance.
