He was a genius in this show, honestly, off the scale hilarious.
It’s probably the saddest but most hilarious episode. Richie wonders why nobody likes him, and yet he constantly treats people like garbage. Spud gun and Dave couldn’t believe someone like that would be friends with Eddie, but they know that Richie is lonely so he lets him stay there. No wonder they refer to Richie as the wife lol.
@GoGodman1972 on some level yea I understand, he’s a 40 year old Virgin who is shunned by everyone including his best friend.
However Ritchie brings all his misery into himself by never getting over himself. He deluded himself thinking he’s better than everyone or saying he’s a child of god.
He treats everyone in his life like garbage and any woman or resemblance of a women he acts like a total creep towards too.
Rik mayall did such a good job portraying this character, he can Rest In Peace knowing he made hilarious characters like this.
The flat they live at belongs to Richie’s aunt.
@@oobenoobyea I know but Ritchie still has to pay rent, she sometimes gives Ritchie money but he squanders it on stupid things or Eddie spends it on booze. Ritchie thinks he’s so above other people to work so he tries to make Eddie (a hopeless alcoholic) do it.

I know I'm taking a risk here what with this being the internet and all but the more obvious homoeroticism in the rest of the scene suggests it may involve the shooting of little pellets of potato without the use of an actual spud gun.
