Nicely done. About the Rhoads version : I always think that was some random notes played ,or mistakingly in the wrong key. What do you think? I know there were other mistakes by him on that Tribute album....
the mistake is a part of be a human my bro , now the wrong key really are a cromatic licks only ,so to me is a very nice idea and sounds good.
@@luchosanchezbh Well, you are a phenomenal player and I don't know as much about theory as you but after the gradually ascending (chromatic) part there is this weird part ..at about 0:35"-0:37" . This seemed like a mistake to me. And because of the chromatic part before this it sounds even weirder. After that it's all good to my ears. Is the part I'm referring to also chromatic ? Very strange that it ends on a F note on the fretboard...

Randy did go out of key. There's videos of him doing the same solo at other venues. It was intentional whether he was bored and just got a kick out of it who knows. He obviously liked it though!

@@mansoldworld Randy made Sabbath songs sound better, he knew more than Tony he could change the key and add stuff Tony just was not going to get to. it has nothing to do with shredding, Randy could play fast, he was not a shredder though he was a very composed player who always had a direction and none of it involved showing off. Are you going to tell me Randy did not crush what Tony did?
