  • Irving Police are confronting sensitive, current topics head on. Police and some community members believe a police program started a few years ago is making a big impact -- by giving barber shop and salon owners more knowledge about law enforcement. That, in turn, leads to better understanding and positive relationships.

    Well, I used to live in Irving (Valley Ranch part). The police were real tough. I had not so good encounters with Irving Police while I was living in Valley Ranch. One time I was pumping gas into my vehicle and there was a homeless black male nearby and the officer asked me "Is he your brother"? I said no. The Officer had a surly attitude. Another encounter was when an officer ran my auto tag and pulled me over because he thought my vehicle was uninsured. That was a lie my did have insurance. From what I heard Irving Police are very hard and rarely give warnings to motorists (75 to 80 percent of stops result in tickets).

    You can just tell these cops dropped out of highschool and are completely uneducated. This is the only job someone of their intellect will ever get.
