What could Messi probably say about it? The real truth is that the little argentian was afraid of Zlatan getting the main role and scoring a lot of goals so quickly. I am Swedish and I think Zlatan was a bigger problem than Guardiola in this rift. Zlatan cannot function without being regarded as the best player on the pitch. He didn't respect the greatness of Messi, but was more worried about his own scoring. Yes, he scored a fair amount of goals in his first 6 months, but Barcelona wanted him to score the goals in a way that made the team better. In the Swedish national team, Zlatan has a tendency to not work for others on the pitch. This is the most important thing in football and frankly, this is Zlatans blind spot. His ego covers it. I believe this is the reason he never won Champions League - his skill is enough.
Sure, Guardiola could probably have handled the situation better with clearer communication, but I am doubtful he could have "fixed" Zlatan by doing so.

    Edit:
I reiterate... Pep has never built a CL winning team. I consider both his victories as being primarily due to Rijkaard. Heck Etoo, who obviously wasn’t his choice, scored the goals that gave him his first CL. He had burnt through billions at Bayern and City and won nothing in Europe.

Just for watching his incidents on CZcams I can conclude that he is person who is not very pleasant on day to day basis.
There are lots of people like him. Impatient and dont know how to build relationships with people but love to be center of attention. So confrontation is a way to get attention and he does it for that reason.
