HALLOWEEN SINGING PUMPKINS

- Happy Halloween! It's time to be creative and make some singing pumpkins using a projector! In this video, I show you what I used to create my singing pumpkin display!
First, you're going to need three good size pumpkins. They will need to be pretty much all at the same height at their base. Next, you're going to need a projector. After looking at many different type of projectors, with a large span in pricing, I found the best to be the VANKYO pico projector. This projector is pretty much wireless! It has a built in battery and the ability to connect to your WIFI. You can stream videos without a computer, and you can pair it with your phone as well.
Remember, the projector is not water proof, so you'll need to do something to protect it. I've put a clear casing around the projector in case it rains. I also bring the projector in each night.
You'll have to play around with things to get everything working well! You will need to use some kind of video player that loops the video. For sound, the projector has pretty good sound built in, but you may want to consider adding some external speakers to them, if you want them to be louder.

Your singing pumpkins are the best I have ever seen! Please, you really need to make a "performance" video, showing the pumpkins singing all the songs outside your house. You already put a bit of this in this video, but I would love to see a much longer one!

How do you get to faces on a pumpkins facing the same direction? I seems to have one turned around.
Any tips on how to make your projector setup waterproof? Like a box or something?

wanted to know where was the projector set without people passing by aren’t interfering with the projection? How was that tiny projector able to project on all three at the same time? Does it matter if the pumpkins are real or plastic? Does it matter if there is other lighting outside? How did you hide the projector?
Just directly below the pumpkins using a flexible mini tripod. I hide it in a box so people won’t mess with it.

Just set this up with the same equipment and files. Looks great! But, in between each file the projector projects "reading file", which sort of ruins the effect. Any thoughts?

How do you get the sound hooked up? Blue tooth speakers? BTW, as of today, Amazon did not have the projector that you recommended. :(

The sound was hooked up from the projector audio output to some amplified speakers
How did you stream the video onto the pumpkins? Did you use a USB or was this also through wifi?
I would recommend using a raspberry pi and connect an hdmi cable to it.
A lot more info on the set up would have been nice
I'm actually using a software package called xLights to control the video / audio and LED lights on my house. It would have been pretty hard to walk through all that, but maybe this year I can create a behind the scene video if you want.
