    Do you think Clinton Portis underachieved in his NFL career?

    • @KEubanks00
      @KEubanks00 Před 3 lety +4

      Yes, and I'm more disappointed by the excuses he makes for underachieving.

      He would have been a Hall of Famer if he played for a better team. He is a example of the best player isnt the hardest working

      No he did not. What hurt his career was playing in Joe Gibb's system. My buddy is a 'Skins fan and he Tivo'd the games. He showed me the games where the defense had 8 men in the box expecting the run. What did the 'Skins do? They ran the ball. This happened time after time after time. I can imagine that over time, this put a lot of wear and tear on his body. So we cannot look at stats alone. To me, CP was one of the most talented RBs to play in the NFL. 9,923 rushing yards is not too shabby.

    I might be biased here but that 2001 Hurricanes team is the best college football team I've ever seen.

    Clinton Portis is the best pass blocking RB I've ever seen in my life.

      I was just about the post this same comment. He is one of the most talented RBs that I have ever seen. Unfortunately for him, he played in Joe Gibb's system.

    I ran into Clinton Portis right before game 2 of the 2013 NBA Finals. He was with this bad shawty at Hooters and when I passed his table I (couldn’t help myself) threw him the 🙌🏿. Then I said “greatest football team of all time.” He just laughed

    The only people that admit they could have done more are the ones that have won a chip and are in the HOF. Every other athlete will never admit they could have done more in their careers.
