I saw several CZcams videos showing Scout Inflatables offshore fishing in California (Adventures with Oside Kayak Guy). I even saw these being used as rib tender dinghy boats for Yachts. I saw the durability, versatility, and portability....AND I HAD TO BUY ONE! I didn't get it free, but I got a small discount because of the channel & sharing video with you. Knowing what I know now I am hooked on the inflatable skiff life! It can be used with my 6hp Yamaha four stroke outboard, my lightweight Bixpy Jet lithium based motor, or any trolling motor like Minn Kota. It is incredibly lightweight and can be stored in a closet and transported in compact cars. A must have for condo owner, yacht owner, apartment owner, or those with minimal storage options in the city. No need for a trailer yet this skiff can take your small family out on adventures or fishing. I'm excited to share this with you and plan to do more excursions on it. I'm thinking some more fishing, crabbing, spearfishing, and overnight island survival challenges would be fun! I didn't see this happening. I didn't think my favorite watercraft would be an inflatable!

I was going to buy a kayak but when saw you sneaking around Katie that sold it. See u bought a new Yamaha 6 Hp. See u never broke it in properly. Goes real shallow Because of you , am buying the same boat as you but with A Tohatsu 5 Hp that Graham says is the best power . U sure make me happy with your videos

I found the Yamaha gently used so likely already broken in. However, even if I bought outboard new I likely wouldn’t have broken it in properly……WOT is just too much fun!

😎👍 I will try to get some speed tests and do an update video with speed tests. It felt really fast. 15mph+ I feel it easily was doing. This is my favorite watercraft I have ever reviewed. All my friends bought them and even my family members. My father-in-law just got one to take camping. He needed something that he could store in the RV easily when not in use or on the road.

4hp, 5hp, & 6hp are generally about the same weight so I went with 6hp.

Yes, water coming over now will run under the air floor and to the back where it drains out of valve. Air floor stays pretty dry. I love this boat. I feel totally safe going offshore on it.

Great design poor material selection. Basically a throw away boat since its made from PVC. PVC has horrible UV resistance and 0 professional rafts use PVC as their material they use hypalon.

Can you provide a review where people were dissatisfied with their Scout because it broke down under UV rays?
