- Here I explained that how we can clean the carburetor by draining the carburetor bowl.The process is very very simple. It requires just few min and a simple screwdriver. The draining of the carburetor bowl solves almost all common problems related to carburetor like jerk while driving, uneven idealing of the engine, starting problem etc.

I stumbled upon this video after searching and reading on the Internet that cleaning the carburettor is how one can get rid of the Starting-Problem I was having with my 13-year old Honda unicorn since many months. I always used to give it to the nearby mechanic and he would do something along with the normal servicing and then the motorcycle would start with a little lesser effort than before I gave it for servicing.
However, every morning, I had to kick at least 200 times and keep it on choke for long duration. Even after that I had to ride my bike on low gear (1 & 2) for at least 3 km and only after that it would behave normally. I was tired of spending time, effort and money on the mechanic without satisfactory results.
Anyway, I tried what you showed in this video and my motorcycle started (after a week's downtime) immediately. I was amazed, happy and pissed-off at myself for not having searched earlier.
Ever since (almost two weeks), my motorcycle starts on the first or second kick. I run it on full-choke for 30-45 seconds, then slowly close the choke over 10 seconds. I then ride it in 1st gear for around 300 metres and then 2nd gear for another km. After that it is fine.
NOTE: After this, I decided to do my own servicing. I watched your brake fluid change video too. After opening the brake-fluid container, I found that my mechanic has never changed brake-fluid even though he kept telling me that he has changed it. I will also have to check the engine oil to see its condition.

Helped me a lot. Did this today and out of 35ml petrol 10ml se zyada water type ka liquid tha. Abhi idling accha ho rah hai.

I cleaned my old CBZ carburettor but could not open the stuck drain screw. Would the sediments already be drained ? Can I refit the carburettor after ignoring this step ? Thanks.

Will it solve the vibration problem bcz my local guy did some carburator setting and since then the bike is giving vibration after 85kmph. Earlier the bike had no problem at all.

I tried looseing the drain screw in Gixxer 155 and Unicorn but I couldn't get the screw loose. Infact the thread of the screw got a bit damaged as well . Will Penetrating sprays be helpful ?
Use hexagonal socket with handle. Avoid spanner . Keep care of clockwise and Anticlock wise.

I too have honda cb carburetor. After running for app. 30000 km, its carburetor behaving odd. Had changed it with new one but again same probkems have started.
Issue is with its rubber slide and cgamber which gets eroded after some kms of use. Is there any way to make it ok

i like you advise to transfer the fuel in a safe way to avoid damage caused leakage from the tank pipe by careless refitting. I use a pipr dipping in and get the fuel but I like your way thannk you.

Brother, Unicorn 150 ka air screw full close kiya fir bhi engine stop nahi ho raha.

> Insulator boot and o ring already changed.
> Air screw changed.
Low rpm pe bike buk-buk kar rahi hai. High rpm pe accha chalti hai. Mileage 30 ho gaya.
