I'm proud of Sepultura to be one of best bands arround the world. Greetings from Brazil.
You should feel proud ! Greetings from France
Oh now there's a classic. I heard this when I was 13, so a decade and a half ago, haha.
So did I, 3 decades ago
Great reaction guys. As a Brazilian I should be ashamed that I only got into Sepultura very recently and I have been into metal over the past 15 years. Fun fact, Max hated writing lyrics and he would get it done as soon as possible so he could only focus on the guitar riffs. It is possible that even for him the lyrics meaning wasn't that clear on his mind.
But I suppose no nations have come into existence in total peace. Brazil is no exception. We do have some bloody past. Especially during slavery times.
Sepultura was the first Death Metal band that I liked.
Guys, these drummers are from Olodum ( afro group from Bahia, the most african state here in Baazil) . They are really famous here in carnival and Sepultura just took him for this track!
Começaram bem.
Sepultura muito foda
Saudações
São Paulo, Brasil.
Esse é o nosso hino nacional.
Got the logo tattooed on
The song came out in 1996 and it’s from their album roots which would be the final album to feature max cavalera.
Still a banger🔥🔥🔥
Parabéns pelo ótimo trabalho e sensibilidade de dar valor ao heavy metal brasileiro. Obrigado 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This isn't even Sepultura's heaviest album. Wait til you hear Arise.
Sepultura 🔥🔥
Hell Yeah
The best metal band on LATAM
In 1993 I was in 9th grade, I came home after school and turned on Power 40 on MuchMusic and saw the video from Arise. 30 seconds after the video ended they were my favorite band. I immediately bought the Arise cassette tape and they were the measuring stick of if a metal band was heavy enough.......
Bring more sepultura 🇧🇷🤘
Please please please try Capital Enslavement by Sepultura. It's one of their newer songs and features a new, absolutely brutal vocalist after the one who sang this song (Max Cavalera) left. I can't recommend it enough because it combines this style with an insane thrash riff and solo
The Sepultura ancient this is very nice 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
😀😀😀😀😀 from Argentina
"The heaviest of the 90s" 😂😂😂
Love the Black Sabbath born again t shirt. :)
It’s funny you’ve mentioned Brazilian jiu jitsu because the song Attitude has a jiu jitsu fight in its video. BTW, you should react it.
when they moved from thrash to groove metal they reached epic heights. just too bad that was their last lineup of the REAL Sepultura.
listen to 3 meter sessions live recording :)
Meshuggah - future breed machine from destroy, erase, improve (1995) , New millennium cyanide christ from Chaosphere (1998)
There is only one album in the 90s that is arguably heavier (louder) than Sepultura Roots…. It was known as Fear Factory’s Obsolete.
You must react to Lucas Inutilismo - 2023 em uma musica!!
Lucas is a brazilian musician and comedian who makes a mashup of pop music in a metal version.
It is as heavy as it gets in terms of nu metal, but I think death metal can be heavier. To hear the heaviest death metal from the 90s, check out Sinister's "To Mega Therion", Suffocation's "Suspended in Tribulation", Morbid Angel's "World Of Shit (The Promised Land)", and Malevolent Creation's "Preyed Upon".
I don’t consider this death metal. To me it’s more dark speed thrash
@@THENOBODIESREACTS I don't consider it death metal or dark speed thrash. This Sepultura song that you guys reacted to is nu metal. There is nothing fast or thrashy about it.
@@THENOBODIESREACTS Sepultura started off a death metal band, morphed into a thrash band, changed into a groove metal band, and finally transitioned into a nu metal band for the Roots album. Roots is good for what it is, but nu metal is not my thing. After that, Max left and I kind of lost track of Sepultura's output. Not because Max had left but because their music did not seem as good as it once was.
@@hartnettc485 : Hm, I understand what you are saying.... But "Against" is actually a very strong album in my opinion that never got the recognition it deserved. It was my most played CD for a good time, with a reason. I think it had the Sepultura of old sound, but without Max's voice offcourse. Many people just left Sepultura when Max quit, but that's a bit of a shame really.
@@keesketsers5866 Since you put it that way, I'll give Against another try.
Is the heaviest song ever. Slipknot looks like a little kitten in front of this song. Metallica Master of Puppets, Fuel, Battery, whatever you name it, there’s no heavy contagious song like this
Good band but not the heaviest of the 90s. There were already plenty of bands like Cannibal Corpse and Napalm Death that started in the 80s. Heaviest nu metal is a better argument.
In that time nobody had depression.. 😢😢
Se vocês defendem Hamas e Esquerda mundial, diga logo.... pois se forem... nunca mais irei curtir na de vcs.
Scapegoat by Fear Factory. 1992. Real Heavy!!!!
Russia, 1997.... 🤔 Yes., is most aggressive album for us was. + lovely tribal /core
The second song on this Roots album is called "Atitude", and features the Gracie from Brazil fighting jui-jitsu.
At the beginning of the song, Max Cavalera uses an instrument (Berimbau) used in the Afro-Brazilian martial art called "Capoeira". czcams.com/video/0TanJ9jf-p4/video.html
