  • Black Krrsantan appeared in The Book of Boba Fett and I've been so excited ever since. He's a really interesting character and his dynamic with Boba, Vader and others has been adventurous, dangerous, and tumultuous to say the least. I am very excited to see who we could see join Boba in this inevitable fight!
In today's video let's cover a canon comic where Obi-Wan Kenobi saves Uncle Owen from fighting Black Krrsantan on Tatooine.

Theory, Luke's power was too great and he was too valuable to the Emperor, that's why Obi-Wan needed to wait to train him, or even better, keep him hidden. Remember Obi-Wan thought Anakin was the chosen one and only one that could defeat the Sith. Obi-Wan and Yoda did not fully understand what the Force wanted from them yet. Also Obi-Wan and Yoda were now using Sidious tactic that helped him take over the galaxy which is stay hidden and grow stronger hidden (i.e. Obi-Wan training with Qui-gon and Yoda as well.. And also looking after Luke. Luke was their wild card they wanted to protect and use at THE RIGHT TIME). Though they were pushed into hiding, they STAYED HIDDEN. Pretty sure they saw more value in staying hidden and most importantly LEARN more about the Force hidden, and protecting Luke.

As for the first Death Star, there is the math of kinetic impact at hyper velocity.
A dozen medium size space transports with a 100 thousand tons cargo full of thermite colliding at 600km/sec ( escape velocity of Earth Sun which our satellites orbit and comets sling shot.) Goes off like a small star going nova with enough power to rip Earth apart into a dust cloud. The fusion on impact will burn for minutes with it's own gravity well.

If trained from a young age, Luke would’ve grown up to be an arrogant and cocky Jedi, like Anakin and like many of Obi Wan’s peers. At Little Ani’s age, Luke would’ve done something silly like challenge the Empire and gotten himself killed.. or worse..

That's a really weird and ignorant conclusion.
What turned Anakin into Darth Vader was the repeated betrayals of trust he was subjected to. From beeing forced by Qui-Gon to choose between staying to help and protect and eventually free his mother and friends from slavery OR following his dream of becoming a Jedi but abandoning his mother and friends to the extreme dangers of slavery in a society ruled by Hutt autocrats in a feudal hierarchy to beeing treated like a political pawn by both Sheev and the Jedi council while at the same time fighting as an almost laughably untrained and inexperienced commander in a brutal civil war where war crimes on both sides were as common as grass on a golf course. And then beeing forced to live a lie of omission by hiding his and Padmes highly problematic romance and marriage as two traumatized young adults with barely anyone to actually turn to for psychological support but eachother.
And then forced to witness the witch hunt and betrayal of his padawan by the people he admired and trusted the most to the point that when she was finally prooven innocent, her trust for the republic and the jedi masters who should have guaranteed her a fair hearing instead of persecuting her on rumours was beyond repair even for him.

@@protalghulnist4126 I'm afraid Star Wars itself contradicts your thoughts. There is no such thing as a destiny set in stone; it arrives only if one works actively towards it. Luke's defeat of Vader and Palpatine was essentially a perfect catastrophe that very few could have predicted- and no force user among them. Owen in the situation acted as any rational parent would act. His father was killed in a war, and the same person who probably got him killed wants to take away the son and get him killed too. What would you do?

Cool vid, thank you for this, agreed it would be cool to see this in the Obi Wan Kenobi just without Luke or Uncle Owen anywhere near it. I also like to think of Obi Wan Kenobi in this period as not someone who has let his training dwindle but someone who intensified his training because he was looking after Luke, Luke was his mission I don't believe Obi Wan Kenobi would let himself get sloppy (regardless of age) intense training to protect Luke and keep himself sane on that planet lol I fully love your vids and passion you have for SW ...very cool!

I can't help but think that Obi-Wan was as unsure about training Luke as Owen. From Obi-Wan's point of view, he might not know whether or not Anakin would have been better off if he hadn't been brought into the Jedi Order...part of what caused Anakin to turn from the dark side was the trauma of constantly being pulled away from his loved ones in favor of the Jedi. In the end the Jedi did Anakin no favors, in fact whether the Republic won or lost the Clone Wars, the Jedi themselves would still probably have been better off if Anakin wasn't among their ranks, since nobody was more skilled at hunting and killing Jedi than Vader himself.
Even more, Vader hates the Jedi and Obi-Wan, so him so turning his son into something that Vader hates might have only driven Vader further to the dark side, whereas if his children were more like he was before he'd gotten drawn into this maybe he would have been more likely to return to the light. I mean, both Leia and Luke were raised in a similar, but more wholesome, way than Padme and Anakin. Leia grew up in a noble family and became a Senator like Padme, and Luke grew up on rural Tatooine with his family...Vader would see himself and Padme in his children and maybe remember who he was.
Moreover, Obi-Wan may have been trusting in the Force to make things right rather than trying to force the Jedi way on another kid; so it wasn't until destiny brought them both back together when he decided "Okay, he is supposed to be a Jedi after all, if the Force is bringing he and Leia to me."

In the old EU legends novel, a darksider stated in regards to the Skywalker twins, .." Luke is a Jedi as they should have been. As for Leia being mostly untrained in the ways of the force, threaten her family and children in any way she will go at you with full murderous intent, but she has no dark impulse that Vader had. Leia is like the raw aspect of the force simply being unleased. Leia is just a raw force of nature best not to draw her attention. Deep down, Luke is real just a very nice guy that wants to help people to find their balance which is why he has so many darksiders and force witches going to his temple just to talk thing out."
Still like a few of the old novels where Mara Jade brought in a few old Storm Commandos to Luke's temple to help the Jedi round out their basic training, and one of the commando hobby was knitting scarfs, which came in handy on cold worlds.

Jason Alexander Its Star Wars Marvel comics 2015 series circa post ANH - Pre-Empire Strikes Back timeline.
While Luke's flying His X Wing finds Kenobi's old journal (THE Journals of Old Ben Kenobi). Check: Issue #7, Issue #15, Issue #20 aka The whole 3 part Kenobi flashback telling untold stories, challenges, conflicts, fighting bounty hunters like Black Krrsaatan, Uncle Owen drama, His plight on Tatooine, during His tenor protecting the child etc.
Its basically a prequel to The Kenobi series that obviously takes place after this journal cause The Inquisitors nor Vader knew Old Ben's whereabouts at this point.
