- In this video, I talk about the recent community post I made where alledgedly somebody is pretending to me on spelunky 2 online and ruining every run by trolling / griefing / etc...
This is not meant to be a sad update video lol its more like interesting drama. It definitely annoys me though

This stuff makes me wonder why players in online are even able to hit each other or effect one another?? If you couldn't damage your partners in anyway it would obviously remove a lot of that Spelunky wackiness but it would solve a lot of greifing problems
Theres alot of QOL stuff this game doesnt have like making custom lobbies turning friendly damage off. Im still not sure why mossmouth dropped official DLC support for spelunky 2... nothing but a modding community for that aspect.

I had no idea any of this was happening, I haven’t been playing much online recently but this sounds awful. Sure, there’s gonna be griefers but griefers who try and make others look bad? That’s crossing the line

I have never thought of people impersonating other people in spelunky but yeah I guess you can just change your name and play as said person with no way for anyone to detect that you are an imposter without looking at your profile. Maybe the the addition of a four number code next to your name like discord has could fix something like that.
Hey KYGaming. This is the actual people that have been doing this. We want to state that we aren't actually all that bad. He (my friend) plays as you every now and again because we think it's funny. The people that have complained are assholes online and they attacked us online, but once they learned that we're not gonna just let them attack us. They come in here acting like we're the bad guys. Most these people ARE the run ruiners.

I also checked his profile, and his previous names were Mordy-Moo's Boyfriend and D0geLuvr III the Gentle Sadist. Sorry if this is written incorrectly; I don't know how to speak English.
Mordy moo is a pretty chronic troll on PSN ive noticed. The sad part is, hes not very good at griefing... I beat him at his own game and hes stopped messing with me in matches and plays legit 🤣

Holdup, I’ve played a few games with THEBATMANWINS, and he is a fairly good player.
I came across him a couple of days ago and the impersantor was playing the game normally but the run wasn't going so well so i just straight up killed (the impersonator) and left
